Liked: Friendly, welcoming, easy to meet people. Lots of activities organized, had a good day at the lake! Good social room.

Disliked: It was located a bit down from town but the public transport was good and we were able to walk into Calgary so it was not a problem.

Liked: I loved the back garden, it made it so you had a nice place to relax in the outdoors without having to walk anywhere.

Liked: This is a typical HI Hostel. Rooms are OK, centrally located, not many amenities and decent showers. It's just that there is no athmosphere. But hey that's Calgary. The neighbourhood rather looked a bit rough than dangerous, so don't let the "dispose of your needles" bin scare you off (but stay alert nontheless). Being the only hostel in Calgary your shouldn't ask yourself staying at this hostel, but simply wonder if you really should go to Calgary, other than shopping just go for Edmonton or Banff instead.

Liked: A lot of backpacker in canada and other country offer a breakfast every morning for the guest for the same price and even sometimes cheaper .

Liked: this was a nice tidy hostel, located in town, directions to get there from the bus station were confusing so we ended up getting a taxi, but was cheap. was a good hostel

Liked: It's a clean and quiet place.Staff was very nice and friendly. But I didnt check out , someone already came to make the new bed. Wowen and men live in the same floor and the bathroom at the same floor. When I took a shower, I was a little bit worried about someone would be coming. The bathroom was outside of the room, so I think it's not value for fee.

Liked: great location, friendly and helpful staff, well kept and clean. the only problem was the addicts and homeless people high and drunk shouting at all hours of the morning. walking alone at night back to the hostel i felt uneasy.

Liked: Had a good and restful night, be warned though only 1/2 block from Light Rail (Trolley) Line so clanging bell and grade crossing noises often herd.Other than that the hostel itself was completely adequate
