The staff were really helpful and friendly, the dorms were spacious and comfortable. I went to the bar to watch a band play and a great night with the people I met.

The new Banff Backpackers is located directly on Banff Avenue located steps away from everything Banff has to offer!
The Backpackers is also home to the Beaver Lounge, Banff's only backpacker pub directly on Banff Avenue! Featuring Open mic nights, DJ’s playing and weekly backpacker parties! Cheap drinks and $6 dinner specials. This bar is the newest hot spot of downtown Banff.
The hostel features some of the nicest private rooms of any hostel in the country, cleaned daily by our friendly housekeepers! We also have a fully licenced bar on site with some of the cheapest food and drink in town and live gigs and events, Samesun's activity program is second to none!
The backpackers also offers free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, public internet terminals, TV room and essentially any other creature comfort you need!
