Liked: Great place ti stay. Friendly staff and rooms are nice. Spoke with a couple of guys who were staying at a cheaper place but they were going to chrch out Mick and craigs cause they were sick of drunk people coming home at random times. Yeah Mick and craigs was clean and quiet, what else do you need? Great place to stay!

Disliked: We found a cocroach in the shower room in the morning, but nothing to put you off the place.

Liked: The staff was great. I accidentally booked my room on the wrong night, and the guesthouse was full when i arrived. However, they still managed to find a room for me. It was pretty quiet at night.

Disliked: I had some problems with the fan

Liked: Despite the busy location and restaurant at the front of the hotel, Mick & Craigs is surprisngly quiet, with all rooms tucked away at the back providing a calm space to escape form the busy Sihanoukville beach and streets. The rooms were clean as were the towels and linen provided. The staff are also friendly, smiling and always happy to help.

Disliked: The location, for a couple wanting a nice beach and some space to relax this is not the right place. Go to Otres Beach instead.

Liked: Location was good. The restaurant offered great food.

Disliked: On our booking, we were to pay $15 for an A/C room with a TV... however we were quickly pushed into a room with only a fan (broken!) and no TV, and a "discount rate" of $14. We expressed we weren't happy and were basically told there was nothing they could do. The fan fell off the wall and one point, and was "fixed" by removing the front guard. The door didn't close properly (it did lock), and the neighbours could be heard easily through the walls. Staff in general didn't seem to care about our queries. We quickly worked out there were a lot of much cheaper (and nicer) hotels nearby, so only stayed one night.

Liked: I love this hostel! The staff was really helpful and friendly! During my first night, I broke my slippers while walking across the street. One staff accompanied me to find a store even if it's already 1:00AM! They will make you feel like a friend, not just guest. The bathroom was really big, clean and nice. The bed was big and comfy. They were also very understanding about my needs! Special thanks to Annie and the guy who watches over the place at late at night (wasn't able to get his name) You are the best! Will stay here again next time.

Liked: Close to beach but not too close. Rooms clean, overall good value for money.

Disliked: Staff were friendly but some were unable to help with basic questions such as how much to get a tuk tuk to (insert location).

Liked: - Great (though more expensive for Cambodia) food, we had our first 'Western' food there after five/six weeks of travel, lovely! -Good location, central

Disliked: -Bit noisy at night -I reckon they probably couldn't help it, but there was a power stop.

Liked: It's quite near the beach which means you don't have to get a tuk tuk to get around. The food was pretty good and the staff were all friendly.

Disliked: We were happy staying there but spent a lot of our time at Monkey Republic where there was much more atmosphere. If you're looking for a backpacker vibe I would recommend going there instead. However, if you want a quieter place with friendly staff, then Mick and Craig's is great and gives you the option of going to Monkey Republic for food and drink if you feel like it (they're nextdoor but one to each other.)

Liked: Liked that we had a TV in our room, that the rooms were cleaned each day, that there was a free pool table to play on (if rather worn).Also that it had a restaurant at the front and as it rained a lot, it meant we could eat there and not have to get wet going anywhere. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Our toilet broke on day one and they came and fixed it straight away.

Disliked: The first room we were given, when I pulled back the bed, the sheets looked like they had been eaten away by something! Also the pillows were really mouldy and disgusting which you could see even through the pillowcases. They happily changed our room and the sheets were ok but the pillows were still bad. They SERIOUSLY need to get some new pillows - I wouldn't even put my head on mine. We looked around the next day for some other accommodation, but for the price, it was definately better than alot of others at the same cost so we stayed where we were.

Liked: Good location. I found the staff very helpful and friendly with all of our needs. We even got given free limes when we were in need of some for our G & T's and Rum & Cokes. Room was clean and well equipped, plenty of bog roll, clean towels etc etc. The restaurant was really good too and did some stonking bbq's too!

Disliked: Erm......

Liked: Great location for all the restaurants and bars along the beach. Nice rooms.

Disliked: Nothing. Storms in Sihanoukville cut the power a few times - other hostels have their own generators, this one doesn't - no big deal though.

Liked: Good location, restaurant area seemed nice with a pretty decent menu.

Disliked: The room was dirty, and smelt terrible as soon as we walked through the door. The sheets had not been changed from the previous occupants and the bathroom was quite frankly disgusting. The door to the room was glass panneled so you need to keep the curtains shut, we had difficulty locking the door and even when we did it could be opened easily. Thankfully we had only booked for one night, we arrived late and left early. There are much nicer hostels and guesthouses around the area that I would recommend you stay in.

Liked: The staff was very likable, the price was good and they had a restaurant.

Disliked: Not too many facilities other than the room, no hot water and multiple things in the room were broken.

Liked: Near the beaches and the main road where most of the restaurants/bars are.

Disliked: A bit noisy at times. Also like other places along this road there are frequent power outages. The shower was not hot.

Liked: Great location, nice food and decent room

Disliked: No hot water, no internet, very rude staff and security that make you feel threatened...I was sharing my room with a travel buddy and twice returned to the room when she had already gone to bed leaving the door unlocked as she had the key. Security asked my room number, asked why I didn't have the key then followed me to my room without asking. It is a bit dark and I found this threatening late at night. Especially as there were non-security staff around who were aware that I was a customer.
