Liked: The staff was very likable, the price was good and they had a restaurant.

Disliked: Not too many facilities other than the room, no hot water and multiple things in the room were broken.

Disliked: Rooms really dim lighting so cant really see anything in the evening. bathroom dingy. but for the price cant really complain.

Liked: Near the beaches and the main road where most of the restaurants/bars are.

Disliked: A bit noisy at times. Also like other places along this road there are frequent power outages. The shower was not hot.

Liked: Great location, nice food and decent room

Disliked: No hot water, no internet, very rude staff and security that make you feel threatened...I was sharing my room with a travel buddy and twice returned to the room when she had already gone to bed leaving the door unlocked as she had the key. Security asked my room number, asked why I didn't have the key then followed me to my room without asking. It is a bit dark and I found this threatening late at night. Especially as there were non-security staff around who were aware that I was a customer.

Liked: Cheap room- you get the simple basics and it's close to the beaches and easy to get to travel agents/organising trips etc as they are all around, and you definitely do want to go on a trip and not hang around Sihanoukville for too long. Food is good but quite expensive.

Disliked: Initial room we were appointed was only separated to the next with a wall-the ceiling was the corrugated roof (barn style) with thus open communication to next door. As it was very noisy (could hear the neighbours clearly talking and coughing etc) we asked for a different room: this was downstairs and a lot better- but not very clean and with bleach stained sheets on the bed, holes in the linen, and the towels (when you ask for them) smell terrible and look unwashed. However, we ended up having to stay a separate night again, when we got a room that was perfectly fine- clean, linen fine, no problems. Staff wasn't very forthcoming, and one of the main nuisances was that they advertise themselves as having Wifi- however this is merely using the next door shop owners internet- so if he isn't in and the internet is not working for some reason or an other (and there were many, as the internet only worked for 1 day out of the 4 that we stayed) nothing can be done about it!

Liked: the room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. maid service was daily and they gave us 2 bottles of water, nice touch. heather spent time talking to the staff about various things and they were so nice and helpful. we would sty there again. excellent location, good food.

Disliked: nothing, everything was as described so that is what we got and appreciated

Liked: Nothing, we left after one sleepless night! Our pillows were mouldy, the towels they supplied were dirty and stained, and the staff were unhelpful. We had heard that the food was good so decided to get something here after we checked in - bad idea! One of our main courses didn't turn up and the staff seemed to just blame and shout at each other rather than fix the problem. Then when the meal came (by this point my partner had finished her meal and then found a hair in her food) the meat was ice cold in the middle! The staff were very reluctant to admit fault and tried to make me wait for a whole new dish to be cooked!! We swiftly left! This place did not have a good backpackers vibe. We have stayed several hostels in SE Asia for similar price and this is by far the worst!

Liked: Mick and Craig's was pretty good, considering the close location to the beach. The restaurant was overpriced and they seemed a bit unconcerned about guests coming and going. They had a dvd room, but it was pretty messy and not really used, but they had a lot of DVDs to watch. The bathroom was so-so. I've stayed in cheaper places in Cambodia that were nicer, but I guess it just depends on the area. Overall, not a bad place to stay. Kind of small rooms and didn't come in to clean, but it was okay.

Liked: This was an ok place to stay for a night or 2, but nothing special. It is not far from the beach and the food there was pretty good though overpriced a bit.

Liked: Cute place, with friendly staff, but the rooms are small, and the ceiling fan doesn't do anything to cool the room down. I think the rooms are a bit overpriced for what you get.
