Liked: We stayed in the dorm for 3 dollars a night, and breakfast was included which was very nice value for your money

Disliked: The owner was very unfriendly and rude to us and they often don't check their online reservations. A lot of times people have showed up while they booked a room, but couldn't stay there because the hostel was full.

Liked: This hostel is average if you're looking for a dorm and prepared to sacrifice a decent night's sleep in exchange for setting down your rucksack. The breakfast is free and good. If you're leaving early in the morning 6am, or so, they will give you breakfast in a bag which is bread, butter jam and bananas. The bar is a good place to mingle and meet other travelers.

Disliked: Reception is not 24 hours! I went to ask about a tour at 11pm and a guy was closing up saying I had to come back in the morning. He worked there, but wouldn't answer my questions. Also, the bicycles are not free to ride to the temples. They told us to go next door to rent one when we asked. I did not see a communal kitchen anywhere. They also say they give 'free' drinking water, but the jug was empty the whole time I stayed. The hotel says it is air conditioned, but the dorms are not and there is poor air circulation. During the night, a dog was howling outside the window on the property next door which is only a few feet away. The shower and toilet (one room) is right by reception so everyone uses it and it's nearly impossible to take a shower without someone banging on the door needing the toilet. A lady came into our dorm in the middle of the night (2am) and woke us all up to ask if there was an empty bed which was really annoying; they should know that! The dorm is close to reception and is just a sliding glass door with no lock. There are four lockers in the room that aren't big enough for a rucksack, and there are 8 beds. There was no electricity for most of the day so we couldn't charge anything or use the wifi. I left my laundry on night one and went to get it on night two and it wasn't done, even though they said it would be. I was leaving at 6 am so they said someone would bring it in the morning but they never did. I nearly missed my bus because I was trying to track down my laundry. All in all, it was a nightmare, except for the cool people I met.

Liked: The staff are extremely friendly and will help you with any problem you have. If you want to make a difference in Cambodia they are really involved with the local community and can help you get involved with some projects. You will meet a lot of volunteers and aid workers there who can give you great advice on Cambodia. Best way to get there give them a call and they will pick you up, because if you take a random tuk tuk they might actually not drop you where you want to go- happened to me.

Liked: definitely worth the money; comfortable dorm beds; compared to other restaurants around, the hostel offers good dishes for small money, great free breakfast

Disliked: the restaurant's kitchen is just above the dorm room (a little disturbing); the dorm itself is quite small, so there is not much space to move around inside; just one toilet/bathroom for the 8 bed dorm; nothing serious to complain about

Liked: The room is very clean and pretty. There's a cool lounge with great music and comfortable chairs. It's nice to read a book there or just chill out.

Disliked: We closed a deal of 12$ for tuk tuk to temples and we were told we can go see which ever temple we want. On arrival the driver offers a remote temple (which we wanted to see any way) and when we told him to drive there he says we need to add 20$ and when we called the hostel manager he sided with the driver- and that wasn't the deal!

Liked: Everything! We had such a pleasant stay here! The hostel is really nice, clean, the staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. I totally recommend this to all kind of travelers, not just backpackers. Plus, it's not in the city center, so you won't have any drunks waking you up at all hours of the morning. Free internet is very handy.

Disliked: Can't find a single thing I didn't like.

Disliked: Hot water in the shower didn't really work, but it was already so hot outside that it didn't matter.

Liked: For $1 dorm you cant complain !( my complaints are listed below ). Bathrooms seemed to be cleaned regularly , the manager and his wife were helpful. Good communal room for meeting people across road at Jasmine lodge ,good food at restaurant, free pool ! for $1 extra you can get a decent set breakfast if your order day before ( telling this to the waitstaff in the morning is always an ordeal)

Disliked: This dorms in a semi outdoor wooden hut, with no door and no beds , you get a mattress . i don't think this were properly stated. Anyone is free walking from nearby street but it seemed safe enough and no one had any problems , so basically you have to carry your valuables around all day.The other staffs level of english is not good which creates confusion and most of times they are playing pool / watching cartoons. And they always asked for the money for foods etc as soon as id finished eating , at one time they brought the food and asked then which was quite annoying. Double check your free breakfasts are included ,there was a lot of confusion about this.

Liked: Had the best value for money among competitors in the vicinity; free airport pick-up; good customer feedback; good croissant cart adjacent to the property

Disliked: Hardly any ventilation in the fan room--needs much bigger windows; felt that the resident tuk-tuk driver was trying to overprice me, good thing the I got advice from the manager; guest lounge or at least the Internet service should be 24hours.
