Liked: Dodgy place... dorm is on the attic, no window, no water in the bathroom

Liked: This is a good budget place, with OK and clean rooms. We were a group of 4 people staying for several nights, and had no problems at all. The location is not exactly central, but there is a very nice local pub nearby, and you can always catch a tuk-tuk for a 10-minutes ride to the city centre.The place was quite empty during our stay - not a place to meet other tourists, but we were not really into that anyway. All in all, recommended as a nice budget place!

Liked: Bikes available are old and unused, rented a bike and found it had a leak in the tire, had to pay for a ride back to guesthouse. If you book a dorm be prepared to pay more for a bed that is actually made to use.

Liked: The hosts couldn't do enough for you - very friendly staff who go out of their way to make you welcome. I had my own room with ensuite for a couple of US dollars a night - everything spotlessly clean.The meals at the hostel are delicious and not expensive - and it's in a great location for visiting Angkor Wat. I 'hired' a tuktuk and one of the hostel staff drove me around Angkor Wat all day - he wasn't just a driver but also a brilliant guide. The staff have excellent English and some of them also speak some Japanese. When I was there they had some kittens - all very friendly!!

Liked: there were construction work going on and I think it's gonna look awesome by the time it is finished. It was all very simple, but the staff was helpfl and friendliy.

Liked: Well, it was undergoing renovations whilst I was there but you could already see that the improvments they are making are really going to make it an even more enjoyable place to stay.

Liked: Good helpfull staff, nice hotel, cheap and clean. Free bikes at in the evening and very good deals for Angkor. The best Tuk Tuk driver in town is Soopat.

Liked: The staff were amazingly helpful in organizing transport to Angkor Wat and recommending routes to take to make the tuk tuk as cheap as possible. Hostel is about a 20 min walk to Pub Street which isn't too bad, although the area around the hostel is really dark. Room really good value for money although the electricity and water stopped a couple of times, the staff fixed it straightaway. Good breakfast menu, if a little expensive.

Liked: Very friendly staff- easy to organise tours or tuk tuks through them- relaxed atmosphere- we seemed to be the only ones there for a while - only a small number of rooms so not really somewhere to meet loads of people. Room basic- had fan - bathroom could have been updated but we enjoyed our stay there

Liked: Regardless of the lack of other guests, I still felt safe because of the staff. The front office manager and the driver listened to me when I had problems with a driver that I hired, and arranged an airport drop off for me. The room was upgraded for me to a Single Room since there were not many guests, which was wonderful of them.
