About Vagabonds: Koh Rong
Our rooms may be simple, but they provide any traveller with a comfortable and clean space to rest after a long day exploring the island. All of our rooms and dorms have fans, mosquito nets, a window with a view (sadly something not very common on the island) and clean linen.
Koh Rong first saw tourism only a few years ago. Until recently, the 20+ untouched beaches had never seen a bikini or pair of sunglasses. The island is bigger than Hong Kong at 78 sq. kms and is home to four small fishing villages in various stages of development.
Although the island is changing fast, it is still years behind the over populated islands in Southern Thailand and much cheaper. A completely uninhabited beach is only ever a short boat trip away. Whether you want to take advantage of the activities the island has to offer or relax in a hammock with a book all day, we guarantee you'll enjoy your time with us here on Koh Rong.
