Liked: Owner came and picked me up personally and told me everything i needed to know about the city.

Disliked: Not much to dislike if you like a nice, clean, quiet hostel.

Liked: the best hostel that i ever stay !! I love it sooo much ! nice design, good for backpacker, travel books, fully equiped kitchen, little hostel, but really care about visiters! feel like friends, than guests

Liked: The staff was really great, they made sure I felt at home all the time, it has nice comfortable beds and a great location for anything you need in the town

Liked: Brilliant little hostel only a short distance from everything. Paul was the perfect host and went out of his way to take us out and show us the night life in VT. The common area upstairs is a great place to chill out and the free internet and breakfast are little additions which make this place a must. If you are lucky you might even bump in to a musical legend...

Liked: Can't recommend this place highly enough! Absolutely brilliant hostel, my friend and I had only originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4 nights! Kate and Paul who run the place are extremely helpful and friendly and really made sure we had a wonderful time in Veliko Tarnovo. Will definitely be back guys!

Liked: Low Costel Hostel is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The owner Graham is English and well travelled, and extremely helpful in giving you advice and tips about not only Veliko Tarnovo, but Bulgaria and Eastern Europe in general. The hostel was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable, and the highlight of all - the kitchen and chill out area were fantastic! There were spices and herbs, oil and other bits that we could use in cooking, and the area to sit and eat or drink a cold beer, was comfortable and relaxing. The view from the window is priceless! We loved Veliko Tarnovo and the hostel so much we stayed an extra 2 days.

Liked: The upstairs layout and the design of the rooms is well thought about, with little details really making a difference. For instance lamps for each bed, hooks on the ends of the beds etc! Very practical i like it!! also book swap, laundry etc all efficeint.
