Liked: They layout is good and it's the right sort of size to be sociable. There's a lot of good communal outside space too. The dinner is quite basic, but does vary - and you get a beer! Which is a bonus in my book. The staff were also very friendly - pointing out where to go in town.

Liked: Hostel Mostel Veliko Tarnovo is a beautiful, clean hostel with a friendly and very homely atmosphere. Heaps of space to chill out with co-inhabitants and the service is absolutely amazing - most friendly staff! We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Hostel Mostel to anyone!

Liked: This is by far one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The rooms were really clean and tidy, the staff were awesome! We were given dinner and a beer as well as a good breakfast - all included in the price! If you are going to Veliko Tarnovo - defiantely stay here!

Liked: The staff is extremely helpful!! Extremely large dorm room I have never seen. The only disadvantage is the heater in the room is not strong enough.

Liked: Just about everything. One of the most friendly and comfortable hostels I've ever stayed at. The atmosphere is incredibly nice and the staff is incredibly helpful. The place was really, really clean and the staff clearly takes pride in maintaining such a nice hostel. Beers and drinks are on the "honor system", which is very convenient 24/7. Lockers are free and plenty big. The shower has plenty of hot water and a curtain! I would stay here again in a heartbeat (and this is not something I say often about hostels). The hardest part was choosing to leave!

Liked: great place - nice location on quiet street, double room light+ sunny, great new bathroom, brilliant helpful staff (including a kiwi!), free wi-fi, excellent value with free dinner as well as breakfast! good information on walks etc in area. only complaint (and its a small one) was no yoghurt/fruit at breakfast as advertised (was looking forward to it). definately one of the best hostels we have stayed at.

Liked: Make sure to take notice that the pickup, breakfast and dinner AREN'T free for the budget options. Had a bit of an argument with the staff over this as we felt it was fairly misrepresented in flyers and on hostelbookers. In the end they were very nice and let us stay for cheaper.Otherwise EXCELLENT place to stay.

Liked: Without a doubt the best you can get for your money, actually even better! This Hostel Mostel is very cosy with staff that cares on a personal level. Beautifully renovated house, as well in- as outside. Superb spot to get to know people. The one in Sofia is also excellent, but maybe a bit to big.
