Liked: Everything you would expect from hostel mostel, the best hostel chain in Bulgaria and some of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Friendly helpful staff, good location, great facilities and service.

Disliked: Nothing really. Limited hot water for shower but that's about it.

Liked: They picked us up from the station which was great as it is abit of a walk. the free food is nice although very basic. The staff were really helpful. I can't believe how far your money goes in Veliko Tarnovo it is a really nice place to visit.

Disliked: Limited hot water in the private rooms, but we went abit mad on the first day as we didn't realise this but after this we managed fine.

Liked: AMAZING!! This place is so good! The staff will do free pickups from the train and make you breakfast and dinner, help with whatever you might need. It's the best environment, like a big family - you feel like you're staying with mates. Heaps of room in the 10 bed dorm for all your stuff, which is rare! Very, very clean. Thanks to Randy and the team - we hope to come back!

Liked: Beautiful building in a beautiful and peaceful part of town. The garden is lovely and there are comfy communal areas.Like the Mostel in Sofia; the staff go out of their way to help and both Mostel hostels go the extra mile to make guests feel at home.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike about the place.

Liked: The hostel is very clean, light filled and airy, there are great wooden floors and bunks giving it a very homely feel. The common room is very much like a lounge room with TV, Floor Pillows, Book Exchange. Great place to meet and talk with other travellers. Included in the price is breakfast and dinner that comes with free beer, it advertises one glass but really you can drink more:) Staff are very friendly and helpful. Once of the best hostels i have stayed at over the years.

Liked: Hostel Mostel is a fabulous hostel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location was great! I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner-thanks guys! I liked Hostel Mostel so much I booked with them in Sofia as well and they are equally as great! Thanks for everything!

Liked: A great hostel with awesome staff. Great facilities and they even have a free light dinner with beer. The location is great and its excellent value for money.

Liked: Bit of a walk from main centre but close to Fortress. Nice terrace/BBQ area. Rooms lead off from common room so could get a bit noisy at night/first thing in morning. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free dinner isn't great.

Liked: The best hostel I have stayed at. Awesome breakfast. Basic but tasty dinner. Clean, good rooms. Awesome, helpful staff. Great value. Great location. Plenty to do out and about.

Liked: An amazing hostel at amazing value. The location is a little bit out of the way, but as the hostel picked us up for free from the station that didn't matter. Free beer and evening meal (small - but free) and breakfast and internet included. Really helpful staff. The town it's self is very pretty and worth a wonder round. It's worth visiting, just to stay at hostel mostel.

Liked: Probably the best hostel I have stayed at. Its close to the fortress and not a far walk into town. The beds are comfy and the breakfast is a definite treat. The staff here are probably the most friendliest and helpful around.

Liked: This is the best hotel we have stayed in in our one month trip around Europe. The staff are over and above friendly and helpful, they literally bend over backwards for you. Andy's day trip was the absolute highlight of our stay. There is a large living area and all meals are eaten together on big tables, Hostel Mostel has the best atmosphere for meeting other people as you get to talk to everybody. I couldn't recommend it more highly!!

Liked: Splendid location near the fortress, good prize, kind staff, nice atmosphere.

Disliked: It's a little difficult to find the adress. The explanations on the site are not so clear and complete.

Liked: We had a really good stay in this hostel. Their car was out of service when we arrived by train but they quckly arranged a taxi and paid for it for us. The hostel is about a 10 minute walk from the main part of town, and only 3mins to the fortress and its light & sound show. The staff were all very good, especially Tania, who gave us good advice on what to see & do, hikes to do, best places to eat etc. Free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate was available all day & night. We didn't eat dinners at the hostel but other guests said it was good and varied. Bf was good. We were welcome to drink our own cheap beer in the common room, or on the big balcony area, or next to a fire in the bbq area.

Liked: If you want to party all night and into the wee hours of the afternoon, this is your place ! If, however, you value sleep ... look elsewhere.Some of the staff is fantastic ... others, well ... be warned.Otherwise, it's a great value. But consider what your interests are.
