Liked: The other guests

Disliked: Didn t live up to their write up. It said in the, booking confirmation, Free pickup,(no mention there of price minimum) so having a sore back, asked if they could pick me up. they said yes, then no at the last minute when I confirmed it was bus not train station, giving really vague directions and telling me to walk. I felt let down, but all I got was arguements about how easy it was to get there.Only if you know the way!Patronising emails don t help the customer. Unfriendly welcome, cold dorm, uncomfortable bed. Luckily the other guests were nice.Had a miserable stay, unprofessional, misleasing write up, would not recommend.

Liked: Clean place. Hot water shower forever (exaggerated but it was the best I had in a long time). Good location to market and sites. Friendly management (understatement). Excellent breakfast (by far the best breakfast incl. package). Good info about the surrounding area.

Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Liked: Breakfast as very nice. Homely atmosphere. Everything was very sharing, home-made cookies on offer as well as home-made wine one night! Free spring water on offer all the time. Free internet and computer use.

Disliked: Hot water in the 4 bed dorm wasn't quite enough for all of us to shower in the morning. A little cool in the room and no remote for heat pump although we didn't ask. A few funny black worms made their way into our room but they were easily disposed of.

Liked: The owners are incredibly welcoming. Great location on the famous Gurko street. Fresh and delicious breakfast. One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Highly Recommend!

Liked: Very nice place. Clean. Staff is really nice. They bring you to some places in the region where you can jump from a rock 6 m high into the water. They also bring you the the restaurant or to some festival. Very cool!

Liked: Loved loved loved Nomads in Veliko Tarnovo! The staff made us feel completely at home, and we wound up staying a few extra nights. We met some great folks at the hostel. The staff is excited and knowledgeable about the area — helping us plan hikes and outings nearby, as well as letting us in on the right places to eat. We couldn't ask for more! The hostel seems very active in the community, which we don't often find and it made a great impression on us.

Liked: The guys were good hosts and very helpful. We got 4 people together to share a tour with transport to Plovdiv and it was brilliant to visit places we could not have seen on a bus. Go inside the Russian monument if you take the tour! Location is fantastic you can sit on the balcony and look out on the oldest street in Velikon Tornovo, and an easy walk to town restaurants. Breakfast was also very good home grown and home made.

Liked: this is a great hostel i`ve stayed here three times now and would always choose this place over any others! the location is amazing excellent views and in a traditional building in a great part of town. the guys who work there are very friendly and really went out of their way to help us arrange things for our trip. it has a very chilled out atmosphere and the rooms are really nice. excellent value for money and highly recommended!!

Liked: Everything!Fantastic, very helpful and friendly staff...Felt like you were at your own home and staying with friends :) with such a comforting, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.Wonderful breakfast and food...Can certainly see why everyone kept deciding to extend their stay!

Liked: The best view from a hostel I've ever seen! Very friendly staff that will do everything from day trips to arranging onward accommodation and making breaky. Well located and very clean. Don't stay anywhere else in Veliko Tarnovo.
