Liked: Everything. If you come to Veliko Tarnovo, this is the place to be. The staff are amazing and it feels more like a home than a hostel. Free internet, great breakfast, heating and perfect location.

Liked: The most personable hostel Ive ever been to. This is how hostels used to be and how they should be. They make their own milk and cheese here!! ANd tomorrow they will slaughter a pig.

Liked: The hosts!! Fedio, Maria and Georgi are brilliant people. Tokeep this brief we came for a night and stayed 9 nights. We love nomads for these reasons:-- Clean bathrooms-Super warm hosts- Bushwalks with Georgi picking wild mushrooms FANTASTIC!!- Excellent home cooked Bulgarian dinners.....and Rakia :)- Its like being at your best friends house- the awesome view- The double room was really warm and comfortable- Nothing is to much troubleFedio, Maria,Georgi and all your friends we met THANK YOU! Liked: Fedyo and company (sorry for any misspelling!) were wonderful hosts, and it really feels like you are just staying over at someone's house, as opposed to staying in a hostel. These folk are super welcoming and you really get the impression that they are sharing their lives with you, not just their home (and they're great cooks, so if you're lucky, they may whip you up some tasty food!). The hostel itself is really clean, with a great living room area to relax in (either with Fedyo, Maria, and Georgi, or with others you meet in the place). If you're looking for a big party hostel, look somewhere else, but if you want a small, laid back, fun place to stay, this is the place for you. This is definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed at so far!

Liked: This hostel is fantastic. It is REALLY easy to find - in a beautiful quiet location but also very close to all the action. A home from home with the most welcoming hosts that I have ever met - nothing is too much trouble for them. As soon as you arrive, you feel completely relaxed, and they will even cook you traditional bulgarian food. There is all the information on Veliko Turnovo and the region that you could wish for. They even have there own mountain guide who took us on an amazing trip - some beautiful sights that we will never forget.Fedio, Maria and Georgi - huge thanks for everything. You say "come as a guest, leave as a friend" and that is exactly how we felt.I only wish that we had been able to stay longer. We will be back!!

Liked: the location, the jaw dropping views, the peacefulness and laidback attitude, the amazing friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, the dinners that they can make for you, the hospitality. George who works here is amazing- he only recently learned english and he is almost faultless. He is very knowledgable about Bulgaria, the local area, and natural history. This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Although I thought their motto a little cheesy (come as a guest, leave as a friend), it is so true. We stayed longer than we thought we would because we felt so at home here! Thanks guys!!

Liked: I`ve been travelling for about 2 months now through Eastern Europe and this is by far one of the best hostels I`ve been to. It`s all about the atmosphere. The staff treats you as a friend yet with all the hospitality a guest would receive. Last but not least, they`re amazing cooks. You must let them cook dinner for you.

Liked: so.. you know what? this is not an hostel.. this is home with good friends inside who are waiting for you. with all the best features of the best hostel-conception. i've booked for one night and then i stayed on till the end of my time in Bulgaria, does it tell you something? there is an atmosphere that i don't want to describe, but invite you to taste it.. the fact of the matter is that you feel so good, relaxed, in good company. they provide to everything and, in the same time, make you feel free to do what you want, just like one of them.. but still a guest!they are wonderful, very special guys.. good and smiling inside, so you can feel it getting into touch with them and in all the space around. all the rest is perfect, beginning with the very confortable beds. and the view from the balcony is just the cherry on the cake :-).their slogan "come as a guest, leave as a friend" is the least that can happens to you.
