Liked: Superb location in Sofia, we were happy to find it was so close to the bus stop to travel to the airport, coffee shops, cash points as well as walkable to all the churches, shopping streets and sights of the city. Staff were really helpful and we made use of the washing machine- a definite bonus after staying in hostels where laundry was either impossible or had to be done by staff for a fee. Contrary to some trip advisor reviews, I didn't find the location noisy at all and we had no issues with our booking.

Disliked: I found having a room within an apartment a strange set-up. This was unlike any hotel or hostel set up I'd experienced and lacked both the privacy element of a hotel room as well as the communal atmosphere of a typical hostel. This review is for prospective customers so I couldn't refrain from commenting on the "breakfast"- whilst the owner gave us a generous breakfast on our first morning the following days we were directed to a nearby cafe. The selection was poor coffee served in a disposable plastic cup, unappetising cheese and ham toasties and bland toast. Fortunately the B&B was well located with a good selection of amenities so my sister and I could obtain a breakfast elsewhere in Sofia. Another small detail is that we thought we'd be getting two single beds rather than a double. This must have been an error of hours in booking but it would have been nice if the site had been clearer that we should make a specification.
