Liked: we were a group of 5 people and so we stayed at one room, which was very nice and comfortable... TV was good, especially during the Bejing 2008 olympics. the staff was very friendly and they had great knowledge of english

Liked: Loft style dorm, air conditioning, friendly and helpful staff, fully equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms. Very homely!

Liked: The staff is very nice and helpfull, they gave us good tips and directions. When our wallet got stolen, the owner took us to the police and helped us by translating and getting us an report!!!Since we left Sofia on the night train, we could leave our luggage in the hostel during the day for free.Note: You pay less for a double room (1 big bed) then a 6 beds dorm, because of the bathroom arrangements.

Liked: Its location near the airport bus stop on a quiet street and a few blocks from the main pedestrian street .It seems a secure place and our bathroom was top class in cleanliness and new ! As for atmosphere we are happy there wasn't any for we certainly are not eager to have partygoers keeping us awaked all night , glad we arrived in the off season! So it went well generally speaking and would recommend the hostel to anyone looking for quietness to go in May or Sept .According to the friendly manager the busy season is of course July and August.He speaks a few languages a good asset for him.Thank you .

Liked: Very friendly and welcoming staff, free dinner (although very basic!), gorgeous rooms, very modern yet rustic feel to the place. Excellent value, very highly recommended.

Liked: This is a great, laid back hostel that is more like staying in someone's house. Georgo, the owner, has a great family history that is worth hearing for anyone interested in Bulgarian history. Great, central location.
