Liked: The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is cool. The common is so big which have many chance to make new friends.

Disliked: The room is very cold in the winter. The heater is not hot enough.

Liked: Had a Bar, great staff, very secure location, advertised walking tour, just about everything you could want in a place to stay and all for 6 Euros!

Disliked: No complaints ( maybe pass on Breakfast food is so cheep hear and you can use the kitchen)

Liked: Breakfast was good, there were travel books which we could borrow during our stay, free pasta and beer in the evening and helpful staff as well. The hostel itself was historically a tavern, so it did felt like we were experiencing a stay in one. Good location as well - bank and cash machine were just downstairs and about 10 mins from the palace of justice where we went for the walking tour. Note: if you have euros in cash, it's better to change it at the bank (due to fixed exchange rate) than to withdraw from the cash machine!

Disliked: The bathroom was a little old, but I'd suppose that it's pretty much what one will expect in Eastern Europe. Toilet being located in a separate room was a little troublesome in the cold winter.

Liked: Really amazing place! Great location right in the city centre and easy to get to. Lovely place- common area is really cosy and kitchen great with free tea and coffee all day. Rooms really good and clean, beds super comfy and shared bathrooms really clean as well. Receptionists super friendly and helpful! Don't exactly remember names but I think it was Mini and Damo who were amazing and super friendly and helpful. Really great place to stay! One of my favourite hostels for sure

Liked: The apartment that I lived in was huge! It was worth paying the amount I paid! Not only that, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The best staff ever :) I had a great time in Hostel Mostel :) Will definitely recommend travellers to book this hostel :)

Liked: Excellent shower! Probably the best i've ever had in hostels. Good place to chill and mingle with other travellers, so as the stuff. I love EVERYTHING here in Hostel Mostel!!!

Liked: I don't normally do these reviews but this hostel was awesome. The staff are so chilled and lovely, really cosy place with good internet (people using wifi don't realise how hard it is for those without to find decent computers to use!!), breakfast was awesome and dinners a bonus - I was expecting some pressure to eat with the crowd but there wasn't at all. Definitely recommend!!

Disliked: Toliets are outside but that can't be helped. Rooms were kind of cold at night, but overall it seemed insignificant

Liked: Friendly staff, good location and value for money. Our apartment was 5 minutes walk from the main Hostel, which was fine. The room was pleasant, facilities clean and wifi was fast and easy to connect to.

Disliked: Room was slightly cold. Fan heater was provided, but couldn't really leave it on all night. Had to go back to the main hostel after the first night to get towels as they had forgotten to give us any to start with.

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful, creating a good atmosphere for all.So laid back, I stayed there 7 nights. When I mentioned the sheets and blanket, were scratchy, they did offer to change them. I didn t have any of the food, but it did look good, and was value for money, especially breakfast. I really liked the place. Nice bar too.

Disliked: I would have liked a small pot to cook my food.

Liked: Everything! this is the coolest hostel ever! everything a backpacker needs hostel mostel has! they really understand what its like to be backpacking, comfy beds,hot showers, free breakfast and pasta & beer when staying in the smaller dorms and they even let us hang around the hostel for the day waiting for our night train amazing staff so friendly and helpful only wished we could have stayed longer.

Liked: Hostel Mostel was easily one of, if not, the best hostel that we stayed in during our three month trip around Europe! The staff were friendly and helpful and remembered our names! The breakfast and dinner were great and the dorm rooms were very nice with en suite toilets and big lockers which were perfect for backpacks! Wifi was very good, and the free internet computers and communal area were great! It was so good that we stayed on our way to and from Istanbul!

Liked: This is my definition of REAL (YOUTH) HOSTEL. A place fun where you can ciscover new people, where you feel home when you come back, where you can party (I mean not to far in the night as everybody & sleeper are respected). Staff were really friendly, they spent quite some time to show me on the map what I should visit or where are the good pub/restaurant. You really feel home, you don't have to pay every 5 min for something additional, and you even get more than other hostels with breakfast (for an hostel it's a good one) and one dinner and one beer...Definitely I had no limites time issue I would have stay longer than first planned just to enjoy the place, the living room ant the other backpackers. This often what happen peopla come there for 1/2 night and stay more to have a small break in the trip

Disliked: Huuuummm....everything has an end, even Hostel Mostel! :-)

Liked: A really nice pictroesque hostel - converted from an old barn. Staff are really helpful, especially when explaining the city - on a really nicely designed and logical hostel map of the city. The communial area is really nice and comfy and really good to socialise with other people - especially around the free pool table! Rooms are nice with adequate locker space and comfy bunks and showers are really good without any queues.

Disliked: The drinks in the hostel bar are a bit pricey, but do not let that put you off this amazing hostel

Liked: Staff were so caring and helpful, place needs a bit of a spring clean and some maintenance though

Disliked: The fact that really noisy people returning from the pub at 3 - 4 in the morning were not discouraged from making noise. There were also rumours of bed bugs in the upstairs dorm room. Also an ensuite only means a shower in your room not a toilet

Liked: The lady on reception (Anne) when I arrived was unbelievably nice and helpful, as were the staff for the entire trip. It's a great, upbeat place to meet people, with loads included in the price.

Disliked: It was a little bit out of the centre of Sofia but not so far it is a problem. And I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who wants a quiet night, definitely a great spot for party animals.

Liked: Full marks for this hostel, honestly can't say anything bad about the place. Great value for money, Anna was really nice and helpful (the other staff probably too, but didn't really speak to them), nice chilled out atmosphere...everything :) I will go back here for sure next time I go to Sofia. Though I unfortunately missed breakfast and dinner, the value is fantastic for them.
