Liked: Kervan hostel is in the centre of town, a little hard to find at first, but good atmosphere and a very friendly hostel owner, who has a little gift shop (wallets / bags etc) that uses recycled material - very cool!

Disliked: rooms were a little cramped, and with no aircon, could get a little hot in the evening... there were also quite a few mozzies unfortunately but might just affect summer travellers

Liked: It was in a nice location, very close to Alexander Nevsky cathedral and other sights, free Internet and free wifi was a major plus, and it was quite clean.

Disliked: There was no common room and there are no lockers in dorms (even though it says so).

Liked: A very quiet place. The dorm with 5 beds was very nice for our family (2 adults and 3 children)

Liked: The staff is realy friendly and care about travellers. They can give many advises about what to see and do in Sofia ;)

Liked: The property was full of character. the staff were helpful. It was really clean and tidy, and quite peaceful. Good place to relax, not so good on the meeting people and partying front.
