Liked: Great location, nice staff, good friendly atmosphere. But the place was pretty dirty. I used to dread going to the toilet or for a shower... The toilet door had cracks in it so people could look through if they wanted to.

Liked: Location was good... Supermarket was nearby, lots of food places around... easy to get to attractions... staff was great especially omar... he gave us lots of information about sofia...bfast was free n lasted for quite long till like noon... boss n lady boss were hospitable... maybe the onli thing they lacked was proper lockers...but other than that...for the amount we paid...great place...cosy n comfy...nice place to meet people...

Liked: We stayed at the nightingale hostel for one night and enjoyed it very much.The calm environment made it a very pleasant sleep, and would recommend it to travellers who want to visit sofia, as the owner will direct you to all the best locations in the city you want to discover. We were nade pancakes for breakfast before we left aswell!!

Liked: If you looking for a cheap clean safe place to sleep i would highly recommend Nightingales hostel. The staff are very friendly and always on hand to help, the beds are clean and there are facilities for self catering. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and there is internet accesss 24/7 for free. The hostel is located right in the center of Sofia and everything is on hand. I had a change of plans towards the end of my holiday and left a booked bed empty for 4 nights and they refused to charge me for it which just goes to show how honest and nice they are. If you going to sofia this is the place to stay!

Liked: The girl working was super nice and had tips on what to see in the area. She got up early to make us a big (whole foods) breakfast for our early flight. There was a fun group in the evening hanging out in the common area.

Liked: The couple running the place were very friendly and went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. Breakfast was good, as well as the company. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Sofia, and would definately stay here again. Just a quick tip, make sure you buy a ticket for your backpack when catching a tram because they class it as a person, and you will be fined.

Liked: Awesome! Hostel facilities nothing special...kitchen OK, 3 computers more than enough for the number of guests, breakfast on par with Bulgarian standard. Location is nice & central, and about a 20 minute walk from the train & bus stations. They include laundry service for free which is a great bonus. But the best things were the outrageous managers Mihail and Silvy...we've been traveling for 5 months and have never come across any hostel staff as helpful, genuine, funny and hospitable as them. No joke, it's like having a family in Sofia! Be prepared to learn lots about Bulgarian history, politics, and geography, whether you want to or not...if you have a sense of humor and adventure you will love it here, though if you just want someplace to hunker down without talking to anyone it may be a little much.

Liked: Very friendly staff in the centre of town, directions to hostel were spot on. HUGE HUGE beds are very comfortable. 3 computers for internet and WiFi, Hosts were INCREDIBLY HELPFUL and FRIENDLY. Breakfast was good, definately try the red tomato paste on your toast. Its good! Value for money. Recommend to anyone wanting to explore Sofia.

Liked: Big double room and clean kitchen and bathrooms.Great position in the city centre!Nice and very helpful staff! The staff (Silvia & Mihail) ARE REALLY WONDERFUL! We definitively will come back at the same place!PS. Only objection that bathrooms for all rooms are in the corridor, but they said that they will prepare ensuite rooms soon!

Liked: Extremely helpful, friendly and kind to us and our children. An ideal hostel, for anyone who enjoys abit of company, a friendly chat and the craic. It's definitely the best place we have ever stayed in. The owners were always on hand to help with anything we needed. thanks guys. hope to see ye again soon.
