Tropical Dolphin

Our hostel is located in front of the beach. Most of the rooms have a big veranda overlooking the Garden and beach. All suites have fridges, TV’s, fans and hammocks. We are a ten minute walk to the town centre. The beach has a bar every 50m (metres) that also serves food. It is a 2km (kilometre) beach with a river, bikes, jungle trails and surf boards can be rented through us.
Capoiera classes, Spanish and Portuguese classes can be arranged.

Each suite is a good size with a big veranda, a hammock and table. The suite has a fridge, TV, fan and sleeps four people. We have a kitchen area to use connecting to the lounge. We have 101 beaches to choose from with most of them being in a protected rain forest reserve. We take guests out on day trails to visit the rain forest and its native people. Surf boards and bikes can also be hired. The cycle track in front of the hostel will take you downtown and to 5 other beaches in the south.
We are a family run bed and breakfast and have been open for 8 years. The guests are made to feel at home and part of the family. The hostel is in a cheap, residential eating area so you can see the true Brazilian way of life as it is compared to the down town tourist area. Bicycles are the main form of transport and there are cycle tracks that will take you all over town and to a lot of the surfing beaches. Trails, bike hire, surf boards, short, fun, and long boards can be rented through us.

Ensuite shared dorm with sea view, sleeps four, big veranda with private fridge. The suite has a double and two single beds. Fans are provided and cable TV. We have two of these rooms.

We have one dorm on the ground floor that sleeps four. This opens onto the garden with a small veranda and sofa. Toilet in reception area.

Private double rooms with a double bed and toilet in the corridor no sea view. We only have one of these types.

Location Information

The hostel is on the beach and on our block we have a bakery, supermarket, and a few places to eat out. The beach is a good one to learn how to surf. We have a surf school on the beach and we have long short and fun boards for hire at the hostel.
There is a river at the end of the beach that you can paddle up we have a surf ski at the hostel that you can hire. All around us is reserve and Atlantic rain forest that have great trails and bike rides. There are over 400 bird species and we receive people from all over the world spot the rare ones that are only found in this area.
