Garden full of tropical fruit trees. House is simple (no marble etc), full of pictures / art, has TV with local channels, stereo, radio, microwave in good neighboorhood.
These houses are all in perfect shape, in use, all have hot cold water in baths. We keep our houses easy to keep so there is no carpeting and fancy finishing. None have AC but with rare exceptions the evenings are agreeable and its easy to sleep. There are ventilators in the rooms. We recommend March through October since the weather is more stable, not to hot, the beaches are a heaven for those who love a lonely spot. Most beaches will have a local to fry a fresh fish and serve a beer or a caipirinha but most of these are extremely crude if compared to your normal tourist town standards a lá Cancun etc. The restaurants not. These are very good, food is served plentiful ussually twice that served in a US or European restaurant. Ubatuba is called the Surf capital of Brasil due to the variety of types of waves and beaches. These are the people I can imagine this spot can attract in particular. Ubatuba County has 72 beaches of all sorts and sizes, from very frequented to completely deserted, in bays, open to ocean, white sand, grey sand, red (broken conch) sand, surf beaches, good snorkling, sailing, trecking, diving, organised scuba trips, island hoping. Water temperature avcerage 24 Celsius, june july August about 21 and december january february about 26 Celsius. Town has all types of restaurants in terms of price, type and food. Rainy period is December /March, though its the hottest period and Brazilian summer vacation period when city is full of tourist and night life. In 60 mile radius are Parati one of Brazils oldest cities with Colonial Architecture (like St. Augustine in Florida) and Ilha Bela, a big beautiful Island and small city with more dream beaches, sailing etc.
