The hostel is located in a neighborhood called ‘Sertão do Camburi’, 3 km from the beaches and closer to ‘Atlantic Rain Forest’ (Mata Atlántica)
‘Camburi Youth Hostel’ has 1.000 square meters of built area with solar energy, potable water in all dependences and a panoramic terrace with view to the exuberant Atlantic Forest.
Services:
Our hostel offers a whole range of rooms with capacity for six people, air shaft, individual wardrobes, telephone, balcony with hammocks and large bathrooms.
Special accommodations are often available for couples and families with large suites and private terrace. We also have adapted rooms for handicapped people. There is a collective Kitchen and laundry area available for the guests use. The breakfast is included in the price.
For your leisure, a charming lounge graciously decorated with arts works offers you TV (Cable), video and stereo, table games such as cards, chess, dominoes, etc. On the second floor you will find a little library, with books in English, French and German. In our games room, you can have fun with the pool table and the soccer table. And to complete the leisure time, enjoy our swimming pool that is surrounded by nature and filled with fresh water from the mountains.
However, the best entertainment that you will find here is our trails along the forest so take your boots and come to discover the wonders of the Mata Atlántica!
The ‘Sertão do Camburi’ offers to the visitants trails, waterfalls, huge and very old trees and the opportunity of being in contact with the animals from the ‘Mata Atlántica’, like colorful and exotic birds, amazing butterflies, and luckily, with mammals and reptiles in extinction.
‘Camburi Beach’ is known for its surf and nightlife, with beautiful and cool people heading to the latest night clubs after a long day on the beach. Camburi and Camburizinho beaches are separated by a little island and still have the charm of a lost paradise. Camburi beach offers excellent conditions for swimming, surfing, fishing and eco-diving.

Managed by the Widmer Family, the ‘Camburi Youth Hostel’ was created and built based on the architectural patterns of the International Hostelling Association.
