About Vila Madalena Hostel
São Paulo is known as the Brazilian capital of art and gastronomy. In the neighborhood you can also appreciate the best of regional foods and a variety of international culinary: Japanese, American, Italian, Moroccan, Arabian, Chinese, Mexican, French, Chilean, Thai and many veggie options. After the city walk, you will enjoy relaxing in our accommodations and rooms with 50s, 60s and contemporary decor.
As we love our home city São Paulo - or Sampa, as people like to call it here - we’ll be pleased to help you to plan your trip around São Paulo, Brazil or South America. We recommend you to stay at a minimum of 3 days (our friends always say they’d love to have one more day to be in the city). Make your reservation!
Whether you stay with us or not, feel invited to get to know Vila Madalena Hostel and unleash your creative imagination onto our free drawing wall.
There is air conditioning and fans in all rooms. The rooms are decorated and very comfortable and with totally new fittings.
We are just two blocks from Benedito Calixto Square, São Paulo’s main market of handcrafts, antiques and design. Within a short walk you´ll find the subway (Clínicas Station), bus stops that go anywhere, art galleries, antique stores, shops, clubs, bohemian nightlife and Brazilian music. All the important museums of the city are close to a subway station. Paulista Ave (the most important of São Paulo) and Ibirapuera Park (the major of the city) are about 40 minutes walk or 15 minutes by bike away from us. The extended metro system can take you to everywhere around the city. All of it makes Vila Madalena Hostel a great choice for those who want to stay within walking distance of the best that the city has to offer.
