Liked: Very relaxed, probably too relaxed

Disliked: Takes about 3 hours to check in and you can-t pay by card. You will not be allocated a room until you pay the full amount, so that means you have to walk to an Atm and withdraw money before being able to settle in.

Liked: The owner is very kind, and help us in any problem, even if its a question that has nothing to do with the Hostel... she gives us tips handle in the city for exemplo! I like the new and strong betts... and the very air-conditioned rooms... necessary in a warm city... I like the tree smell in the Patio, that sounds like tropical fruits! The area is perfect because even if its in a very youngfull place (bars, restaurants and parties), the hostel fits a special place that you have completely SILENCE... good to have a good sleep! Also close to the beach area! TIPS - Accept Dona Jo suggests of drivers (pick up at airport for exemple). She knew drivers that have cheap prices!

Disliked: To arrive late at night, you have to arrange with Dona Jo... that she will be waiting for you. It was not a big problem. Pay attention not to fall in love to the owner (Dona Jo)... she is very special and sweet!

Liked: The owner Jo seemed very friendly but spoke only portugese therefore we couldn't understand each other.

Disliked: Everything. The beds were old and unclean. The bathroom was very unclean and had no hot water. The entire hostel smelt terrible - like urine. Jo didn't even have the phone number to call us a taxi to leave - we had to walk to the road and flag one down.

The property's response is

Thanks for your opinion.
And about the smell, it was just the product that we were using during the reform in our installations that time.
And now we have our own driver (for pick-up airport) that will be there by our call.
Thanks and be welcome!
