Liked: The location is great as its walking distance to the main sights and is great place to see the Tuesday Carnaval practices.

Disliked: I found it strange that the day we left we were unable to leave our luggage at the hostel (in reception or anywhere else) whilst we go into town as our flight to the airport was in the evening. The hostel was quite empty as we had seen no one in our sleeping area for 3 days so couldn't understand it when the owner said he didn't have space for it. This meant we had to go to the airport early in the day and spend the rest of the day there (or lug our bags all over town).

Liked: Nice room with balcony, not many travellers so dorm was quite empty. Good value for money. Great breakfast of eggs and fruit. Although the owners only spoke a tiny bit of English they were helpful and lent us their guidebook. Close to all the Pelo attractions and sites. Good for daytime activities

Disliked: Bathroom was not cleaned in the four days were were there and the toilet paper bin wasn't emptied either which was revolting. Not a safe area at night which made dining out and nightlife options limited, especially on a Sunday.

Liked: I liked the location: a nice street between the most touristic places and Santo Antonio neighbourhood. WIFI for free. Linen included.

Disliked: Although on this site it says that breakfast is included, as I arrived there I was told that BREAKFAST WAS NOT INCLUDED, you have to pay 5 Reais for it (not nice...:( )
