Liked: Games room and tv room gave good entertainment options when raining

Disliked: We stayed 3 nights and I got bitten by bed bugs 2 out of 3 nights. Staff had bad attitudes and were more interested in their own business than helping guests. Was only allowed to change rooms after the second night and a large protest to the girl at the front desk. We would have left after the first night due to the bed bugs but paid all nights up front.

Liked: Great location and friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

Disliked: Internet on computers didn't work very well. All the rest was fine.

Liked: The price.

Disliked: The location is great if you just want to go to the beach, otherwise, it is a little far from the cente. The staff is kind, but often helpless, they cannot give you a map of the city or tell you were is the visitor center !! The kitchen is inaccessible before 12PM. The living room is really great, but they put a very loud music... The laundry service was broken, and there is no laundry service around (except very expansive services).

Liked: Such a GREAT location! Great for Carnival.

Liked: Great location to the carnival along a street where many passby so drinking on the steps and people watching was great before heading out ourselfs some wild carnival party times.

Disliked: They didnt allow us to bring back girls from outside even though we had booked a private room

Liked: Big place 50 meters fromt the sea front and near the beach. Opposite the supermarket. Handy for the bus to the pelo. Very helpful staff minus the incident below.

Disliked: Booked a transfer from the airport and it didn't show. Tried to phone and they were constantly engaged. Got a taxi and then when we arrived the girl didn't apologise but looked puzzled, suggesting it was not the norm. A little annoyed that we got no apology and had to fight for the hostel to pay the extra towards the taxi as this was more expensive.

Liked: Big place, good games room, good kitchen and breakfast. Decent sized rooms. Staff very helpful.

Disliked: Charged for leaving bags, not great atmosphere, random friends of the staff allowed in the hostel at night.

Disliked: staff where very slow i.e. 45 minutes to book a bus ticket, it was like a construction site

Liked: I stayed at the Hostel and I had an awesome time there!! The cleaning lady does a really good job. The Staff is very nice and can help you with all your questions! If you want to go to Salvador to have fun and to go out - this would be your best choice!! The location is perfect!! I will be there again - that's for sure :)

Liked: Feels like a hotel and not like a hostel. I think the hostel was originally a hotel that was later transformed into a hostel. The common areas are somewhat impersonal. On the other hand, everything is clean and working fine. Nice breakfast too.

Liked: The hostel is very close to the beach and there is a kitchen for cooking the stuff bought in the supermarket right opposite the hostel. The staff was very kind, the breakfast was nice.

Liked: one night and had a great experience; the staff were incredibly helpful, particularly with advice on how to get around the city. The Hostel itself has great facilities, free internet, pool table etc and a good kitchen space. Strongly recommend this hostel for anyone coming to Salvador.

Liked: Friendly and very helpfull staff. Very claen, and a really good atmosphere! We really enjoyed it, and would always stay there again in case we will be back in Salvador!!! The location is 30 m from one of the many beaches.
