Liked: The hostel is a very safe and fun place. The location is just optimalin Pelourinho, close to the São Francisco church. When you're there itis obvious that Paulo, the owner, tries to make your stay as good aspossible for you. I also liked the friendly allnight staff and the 24hour bar.The best place I've stayed in, so far.

Liked: Cool room to hang out in and read. There was no bar, but they had beers for sale. It drew a different and much cooler crowd than the average hostel; people from all ages and countries rather than just english speaking kids looking to party. Everyone still partied together at night though. Very fun, right in the pelourinho, which is the prime tourist location. serve delicious food as well, including great vegetarian options. Staff helped a lot with events going on etc...

Liked: Fantastic hostel run by Paulo who couldnt be more helpful. Breakfast is the best i have ever seen at any hostel anywhere on the planet! The old house in the beautiful Pelo area has been transformed into a great chill out area. Paulo has opened up a lovely bar/restaurant called Zulu just 50 metres away. The Pelo area is worth seeing but muggings are out of control day and night. Dont wear jewellery or carry shoulder bags. Leave them locked up at the hostel which is kept well secure.

Liked: Great atmosphere and perfect place to meet people. All members of the staff, including the dog, did everything to make our stay as good as possible. Receptionist Natalia makes the best Caipirinha in town and they also serve great meatballs!

Liked: The staff is very professional and helpful. But at night-time the community area changes to a Partyarea which was not what I was looking for. But most people seem to like it.

Liked: great friendly atmosphere, incredibly fun and helpful staff. Spartan the dog gave many hours of enjoyment when we were too tired to leave the hostel.

Liked: Excellent service. Paulo knows what's going on around Salvador everyday. Very informative and helpful. He makes sure you enjoy your stay and listens to any complaints you have (if any). I had a great time there.

Liked: An amazing hostel, great location, right in the heart of the Pelourinho. Hostel itself was really cool with a really relaxed atmosphere and chill out room and garden to hang out in. Paulo, the owner, is always on hand to help and has loads of info on whats going on, travel, etc. All the staff really make you feel at home. Great cheap food too, plus breakfast till 12 is an added bonus!

Liked: paulo the owner couldnt be more helpful, is in a great location in the old and feels very safe. big spacious dorms, clean and particularly liked the arabic style chill out room.

Liked: Without a doubt you get value for the money. The location was excellent an the staff were more helpful and gave better touristinform then the actual tourist inmformation office. The food they serve in their restaurant is really good and cheap as well.
