Welcome to Hostel Amizade! When you get to Salvador, be sure to come to Pelourinho, the Historic Center of the city.

There you can stay at Hostel Amizade, a small and elegant eighteenth century style building, located in front of the Pelourinho square - Praça do Pelourinho. Our friendly, family style setting will welcome you with respect, caring and friendliness.

The Carnival Package consists of 07 nights from FEB 11TH to FEB 17TH 2010
Separated days are not available, even if you're not going to stay 7 nights you have to pay for the whole package.
Your booking will only be confirmed by the Hostel, after payment in advance of the whole package.
So in order to finalize your booking you must make full payment of the whole Package.
The hostel will contact you to give instructions on how to pay the balance due in advance. The remaining 90% is required in advance in addition to the deposit paid to this website in order to confirm your reservation.

Accommodation Information

Hostel Amizade has three rooms accommodating up to four persons and one double room. The bathroom has a hot-water shower and is used communally by all guests.

Hostel Amizade also has two large social areas complete with hammocks, where guests can take a break from the heat and socialize, and decide which of the many events in Bahia they will enjoy that night or the following day.

Large windows at the back of the hostel offer a marvelous, panoramic view of Cidade Baixa - Salvador's Lower City - and the beautiful garden next to the hostel. The front windows look out upon the Pelourinho square, where a multitude of events take place all year long.

Location Information

Hostel Da Amizade is situated in Pelourinho, the Historic Center of Salvador. This area is know as "Cidade Alta" ["Upper Town"] and is connected to the "Cidade Baixa" [Lower Town] by cable cars - the chariots - and the Lacerda Elevator.
