Liked: it was in an excellent location right in the middle of the pelourinho, you could watch the square with lots of things going on in it from the window whilst having breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly and relaxed. The breakfast was good with very nice juice and scrambled eggs which was a treat.

Liked: Excellent location, awesome couple of owners, very friendly, helpful and speak english, which is not very common in Bahia. My boyfriend and I woke up late on the first day and Anna (owner) set up the breakfast table back just for us. We got the bus to Chapada Diamantina late at night and they let us leave our luggage and even use the shower and rest of facilities free of charge. Super nice people and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Disliked: They don't take credit card, as most of places in Bahia.

Liked: The hostel is in avery good location. The staff of employes are very frendly. All the things that they promise in our reservation was all right, the breakfast is very complete and the hostel is better than we supposed to be

Liked: I really liked the relaxed but reliable atmosphere in the Pousada Pais Tropical. The staff was friendly and helpful. THANKS FOR THE TIME!

Disliked: During my stay some of the facilities were out of use (internet, washing machine).

Liked: Tha atmosphere and friendly relationship with all of the people who´s in charge of services in the hostel.After trying a olt of different Hostel in Salvador I finally found one that i REALLY LIKE .iT´S NOT crap!!!!!!!!!!!i RECOMMEND TO EVERYBODY.tHANKS.

Liked: The staff was beyond helpful and friendly althogh they don't speak English. Some of the rooms are very nice while others are very small and stuffy so hope you're lucky! The breakfast was really good. Place would be awesome if they had wireless internet. Good location in the center of the old town.

Liked: Central location. Our first room had big windows to the outside, lots of fantastic breeze. Second room was quite a bit cheaper but no real airflow and quite stuffy. Breakfast was quite good. Friendly staff. We stayed 5 nights (we changed rooms once) and our rooms weren´t cleaned/towels werent changed at all. Perhaps we could have asked. No kitchen facilities available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Liked: IN the questionnaire above I answered average to the questionÑ fun place to meet people and party, because I do not want to stay on a pousade full of drunken teenagers playing loud music all night long... So I think it is very POSITIVE. I also visited this pousdada in the low season, so It was more quiet. The location is good if you want to be in the middle of the historic center, and actually want to see the city. In retrospective compared with the other pousadas I visitied in Brazil, I liked to breakfast too! Very helpfull owners, but absolutely no english speaking.. But we managed anyway.
