Liked: Staff (especially Jonathan) were extremely helpful. Even though there are 15 beds in some rooms, there was still plenty of room to move. Pretty good location and not too far to bus stop to main bus station or airport. Would stay again for sure!!

Disliked: We found the hostel ok as there was someone out the front, but no signs - just a big white gate. When you turn right on 3rd street - its the house right down the end directly in front of you. Showers were cold (but weather hot) and toilets not terribly private, but that's being super picky - it seriously is great value for money.

Liked: Really nice little place, good breakfast, clean, great WiFi, perfect location just a couple of blocks from the beach. Can't really ask for much more given the price!

Disliked: Nothing really to dislike, wasn't really many other travellers there when I went so wasn't very social but that was probably just timing.

Liked: It's very secure and lots of nice little places to eat outside the hostel. Good location.

Liked: quite a nice atmosphere inside the hostel. security in the hostel was fairly good, you get buzzed into the building and everyone gets a locker although the lock on the locker was a bit dodgy for my liking.

Disliked: fan in the dorm only reached some beds in the dorm. the street that the hostel on in is kind of dark and a bit offputting the first time you walk down it.

Liked: Staff were really helpful and nice. They organise a taxi service to the airport and when we needed stuff fixing. they were on it straight away. The location is great, really close to the action on the seafront and there´s a TV room, which is nice and big.

Disliked: The shower only worked when you randomly turned 4 different knobs. Not the end of the world, but not ideal after a challenging 7 hr boat/bus journey to Salvador. It rained really heavily on the only night we were there, and we got rather wet! Need to fix the roof above the bed!

Liked: Staff are extra nice

Disliked: was hoping to meet other travellers to get some tips on chapada and morro, but place was mostly empty. On the street across from the hostel there are many homeless people and it is not situated in an area that would feel safe for indpendant travellers imho.

Liked: Nice courtyard to sit and have breakfast. Right next to some great beaches and nightlife. Easy to get to the centre and nice to stay out of it. Staff extremely friendly!

Liked: Very helpfull and friendly staff that speaks english. Quiet area. Easy to reach the city center.

Disliked: I think, when there are a lot of people, the hostel will be loud. But we where alone so it was very quiet at night.

Liked: Clean, in good condition. Staff very friendly helpful and english speaking. Better than average breakfast. Big kitchen available for use. The area is supposed to be safe, and there are police and good street lighting. Easy bus access to all areas. Right near the beachfront.

Liked: I think we were Salvador in low season since we were the only ones there, but it made the stay much more personal and the staff and breakfast were wonderful. Nice to stay away from the center and closer to the beach but very easy to get around. Loved Salvador and this hostel helped enhance the experience!

Liked: Very safe and secure in a great location right near the beach. Fantastically helpful staff and great bus connections to the historic centre as well as other lively night spots. Good kitchen, yummy breaskfast and very clean. Being off season we had the place to ourselves but the guys who manage the place made us feel right at home.
