Overview
Pousada Suítes do Pelô is located in the central area of Salvador, at the historical site called Pelourinho.
Welcome to city of the Saint Salvador of the All Saint's Bay, or just Salvador. One of the most important cities in Brazil, when it comes to history and culture. Salvador was the first Capital of Brazil. A place to enjoy a very energetic and exciting popular culture. Plus, lots of beaches, from crowded ones to quiet ones full of coconut trees. Pousada Suítes do Pelô is located a few minutes walk from Elevador Lacerda, that connects the Upper city to the Lower city. Easy access to the bus that leads to the Rodoviária (Main Bus Terminal) and walking distance to the Terminal Náutico from where there's boats to Morro de São Paulo and Itaparica Island.
Each standard unit has ceiling fan, tv, hot showers and small refrigerator, as well as large windows. For optimal convenience, we offer a restaurant in the same building, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all at local prices. We also offer free wireless Internet access.
Carnival
It is during Carnaval that Salvador is most excited to receive visitors from all parts of the world to enjoy the biggest street party in the world! For the tourist who seeks to enjoy this very special time of the year in Salvador, Pousada Suites do Pelô has a prime location.
Important notice about Carnival 2010:
When booking for Carnival, please be aware that you have to book the whole Carnival Package, that's from the 11th to the 17th (included). If you make your booking for dates in the middle, breaking the package (i.e 12th-15st, 11th-14th, 12th-17th....) your booking will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.
