The main room is where you may eat breakfast, read, listen to music, or socialize with other guests. We provide a variety of accommodations with 40 beds separated into 11 rooms.

Famous all over the world for its beauty and tranquility, Salvador was the first capital of Brazil. The restored Centro Histórico or historical district and the Pelourinho makeup the World Heritage Sites in Salvador. Both serve as cultural centers of attraction for Salvador's Afro-Brazilian heritage.
Nestled in the midst of this colonial architecture and charm is The Hotel Pousada Meson. Pousada Meson is located near bars, restaurants, dancehalls, discos, museums, theatres, and art galleries.
In Pelourinho you can hear music and drumming everywhere. When you come to Pelourinho it is like coming home with its people full of cultural color and warmth.
The Pousada Meson has the good fortune to be located near the Praça de Sé where many buses leave for the many beaches and visitor attractions in Salvador.
Also in the Praça de Sé you may visit the Cidade Baixa, or lower city, using the Elevador Lacerda or the nearby Plano Inclinado. From the Lower City and port you may obtain access to large islands of Itaparica and Morro de São Paulo.
Here you are near everything. In Pelourinho you can walk around with confidence about your safety no matter what time, day or night.

SPECIAL CARNAVAL INSTRUCTIONS
For Carnival, we've have a package of 7 nights minimum stay from the night of the 19th to the night of the 25th of Feb 2009.
Bookings will only be accepted for a minimum of 7 nights during this period.
It is OK to book earlier or later by one or two days as long as the package price applies.
During this special time of year we require a 50% prepayment before issuing a confirmed reservation.
Please contact us and we will supply the details on the payment instructions.
Please send the payment soon so that we can insure your room for Carnaval.

For Carnival, we've got a package of 7 nights minimum stay from the night of the 31st to the night of the 6th. If you don't book the package, meaning you book less than 7 nights or you book the 7 nights breaking the package (e.g. from the 28th to the 4th, from the 2nd to the 9th...) your booking will be cancelled immediately and the deposit paid in advance won't be refunded.

Guests can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days day(s) before arrival. Deposits paid are non refundable.
