Hotel Pousada Meson is located in a completely restored townhouse of the 17th century. Our interior is decorated in a rich, rustic colonial architecture of the period. The main room is where you may eat breakfast, read, listen to music, or socialize with other guests.

The main room is where you may eat breakfast, read, listen to music, or socialize with other guests. We provide a variety of accommodations with 40 beds separated into 11 rooms.

In Pelourinho you can hear music and drumming everywhere. When you come to Pelourinho it is like coming home with its people full of cultural color and warmth. The Pousada Meson has the good fortune to be located near the Praça de Sé where many buses leave for the many beaches and visitor attractions in Salvador. Also in the Praça de Sé you may visit the Cidade Baixa, or lower city, using the Elevador Lacerda or the nearby Plano Inclinado. From the Lower City and port you may obtain access to large islands of Itaparica and Morro de São Paulo. Here you are near everything. In Pelourinho you can walk around with confidence about your safety no matter what time, day or night.

For Carnival, we've have a package of 6 nights minimum stay from 16th-22nd of February 2012.
Bookings will only be accepted for a minimum of 6 nights during this period.
It is OK to book earlier or later by one or two days as long as the package price applies.
During this special time of year we require a 50% prepayment before issuing a confirmed reservation.
