Only 200m up the street on foot, is Largo dos Guimarães, a square from where you can catch a taxi, bus or the famous wooden tram to the most interesting attractions that the city offers.

We are conveniently located 5 minutes from Rio's downtown/business district, where the most important museums, cultural centers, art galleries and historical buildings are, and from Lapa, distinguishable by its arched aqueduct, home to the samba and the bohemia.

The Corcovado with the Christ's statue, is only 10 minutes away by car or you can take the tram halfway there and finish the journey with a 20 minute walk.

From here, you can easily reach (in more or less 20 minutes) the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, the Sugar Loaf or the Botanical Garden. The Maracanã football stadium is also close as well as the Sambódromo where the great carnival parade happens.
