Welcome to Rio, welcome to Trip Hostel.
This is a completely unique hostel, different to any you may have seen before. Located in a beautiful old victorian house which has been completely renovated to it’s former glory. It shows intricate antique architecture in a beautiful arts district, this is coupled with high quality infra-structure on your door step. There is no doubt that staying here your trip will be a real TRIP.
Trip Hostel is situated in the bohemian neighbourhood of Santa Teresa, in a house surrounded by trees, where it is possible to view a variety of birdlife and also little monkeys. This is all in addition to the excellent decoration throughout, big rooms, several common areas, big terrace, free internet, maid service every day and cozy environment. Beside that Trip Hostel is very well located in Santa Teresa, within walking distance from Lapa, the best nightlife in the city, with a lot of samba and bossa nova clubs and bars.
There is a bus stop in front of the hostel, which, in turn, is integrated with the subway and will take you to the beach in 20 minutes. Best of all the world famous yellow tram called ¨bondinho¨ picks up just outside our gates. All this makes Trip Hostel the best option in Rio de Janeiro.
Trip Hostel was created by a ¨Carioca¨ (the term given to people born in Rio) couple, who know all about Rio de Janeiro and are ready to show you the marvellous city from a local view and not a touristic one and even hang out with you.
We are more than happy to assist you with all the information and knowledge about Rio you could require, that is why we speak English, German, Hungarian, Italien and Portuguese.
