Liked: I´m travelling as a woman alone, and here they made me feel right at home and really safe. It´s laid back, easy going, nice food, everyone speaks there languages en the food is really nice! If you want they can show you places that a normal tourist would not see.

Liked: The staff make you feel like one of the family instantly and are super helpful and knowledgeable about Rio. The atmospehere is relaxed and while there is a bar and music, it's repected that people want to sleep after certain hours. The only problem is the hostel is so nice you might spend all your time there.

Liked: the awesomest selection of music of any hostel I have ever stayed at, the home cooked food, the set up of the hostel and the location, the cleanliness and the cleaning lady even making my bed, the climbing wall, the pool table, table tennis and other table games, the things to do in Rio where at arms reach and advertised conveniently, info asked for was accurate and provided speedily, the atmosphere due to this being a Brazilian owned hostel and Brazilians choosing to stay there as well, this feeling of home with family members that I couldn't have chosen better

Liked: First, the commitment of the staff for the well being of the guests. We entered as strangers and really left as firends.Second, the atmosphere of the place, filled with the personality of the owner. What is special about Tupiniqiom? Think of Brazilian table football with a Maracana flavour, great music, nice library, great food and lots of cool beer. Add to this karaoke, a climbing wall (I believe the only in a South American hostel), a pool table and so much more. Our room was not large, but clean, comfortable and with lots of good taste. Third - location; walking distance to the Sugar Loaf, excellent bus conections to Corcovado, Copacabana, Ipanema a.s.o.All in all, perhaps the best hostel ever stayed in. Thanks!

Liked: The airport pickup was really good, even though we were really delayed - Senor Marcelo pointed out places of interest on the way to the hostel. Staff were really friendly and helpful and a good range of facilities.
