This hostel is really good... it's cheap, well located, everything is done to meet other guests in a good atmosphere, and all the staff, that knows perfectly rio, is really helpful...

Walk-On-The-Beach is a very new and always very clean hostel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had great chats with them and they helped us with any matter whatsoever. Therefore, we recommend Walk-On-The-Beach to everyone who is coming to Rio de Janeiro.

The staff was my favorite part of my stay at the hostel because they were always there to greet us with a smile when we got back to the hostel and were always excited about helping us to make our stay in Rio the best possible. We were there during the off-season so we did not meet many people at the hostel to go out and party with, but every night the staff recommended fun places for us to go and we really appreciated their suggestions.

Fantastic atmosphere, the staff are very kind and helpful. They also offer great tours and ideas of things to do. Beau makes a mean Caipirinha too.

The hostel is very clean, staff always helpful & cannot do enough for you. The rate over Carnaval was expensive but in line with other hostels. The standard rate is good value for money. I was here on my own & met great people to hang out with. I definately recommend walk on the beach hostel!!

This is THE BEST hostel I have ever stayed in. Not only is it brand new and in a fantastic location, but has the friendliest, most helpful staff in the world. I've heard a number of horror stories about hostels in Rio but I am sure you wil never hear a bad word about 'Walk on the Beach'. You can't go wrong!
