Liked: Overall a great place, very lively, fun with average to good facilities. I would recommend. But...the rooms are TINY, like the smallest I´ve ever stayed in for the amount of people. Just something to consider.

Liked: After getting my bag stolen (no where near the hostel) the staff were amazingly helpful. As were the people staying in the hostel. It seemed to attract really good fun people.good location, not far from the beach. Very easy to organise onward travel and any tours/excursions through reception staff.Careful of the welcome caipirinha... its lethal!!!

Liked: Great staff (the barmaid is the best), clean dorms and bathrooms, chill atmosphere but at the same time could be lively at night. Only thing is; beds are a little hard... but would definitely go back!

Liked: Best. Hostel. Ever.The staff are super friendly and bend-over-backwards helpful, the whole place is immaculately clean, there are plenty of bathrooms for everyone and the breakfast is good.

Liked: small communal areas so enivitably you´ll meet other travellers. Good location very close to the beach. On the other hand the dorms are quite claustrophobic with 12 people on just as many squaremeters and seems kinda pricy compared to what you get. Maybe it is like that overall in Rio. Oh, very boring breakfast, if you dont like cheese and plain bread...

Liked: The staff are so so nice and will do anything for you, they really looked after us. It's got a really nice laidback vibe, like an instant family when you arrive, I loved it.

Liked: Everything was great! The staff was the best we have met on our 5 months trip with approximately 40 different hostels! They really make you feel like a friend staying at their home and not like a paying costumer. They always help you with "tourist information"- things, the location is great, the included breakfast is the best one we've eaten in South America. We can only highly recommed this hostel!
