About Vidigalbergue Rio Hostel

The hostel Vidigalbergue is located on the sea side, between the neighbourhoods of Leblon and São Conrado, in the Favela of Vidigal.

The local it is very safe, now with the UPP (Pacific Police Unit)!

Being situated just 2km (kilometres) from Leblon, the best neighbourhood of the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, facilitates access to main bars, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies, discos etc of the city. The hostel also offers a lot of types of transport and is located 3km from Ipanema and 5km from Copacabana.
Besides the excellent location, the hostel has a unique and stunning view to the sea, providing mostly in the summer watching a fantastic sunrise and sunset! In addition, in front of the hostel there is a natural pool in the middle of the rocks. This is a sole and exclusive place and located less than 500 metres from a beautiful beach, called Prainha.

The breakfast can be served on the terrace of the hostel, with a spectacular view to the sea, where we also offer happy hours and parties.
The hostel has a fully equipped kitchen for better attend the guests.
Every week we offer tours through the city of Rio de Janeiro, samba lessons, live music, parties, happy hours with free caipirinha, feijoada, barbecue, rides to the natural pool in front of the hostel and much more, making your stay indescribable.

How to get there

From the Novo Rio bus station
PRIVATE CAR: An employee of Vidigalbergue hostel will be waiting at the exit of the Road with a card indicating the name of the guest.

REAL BUS: Air-conditioned bus located in front off the Road, price at R$4,00, but with path longer (1 hour on average). The buses run from 15 to 15 minutes. Ask the driver to stop at the entrance of 314 Niemeyer Avenue. Look up and find a red house.
From the International Airport

PRIVATE CAR: An employee of Vidigalbergue hostel will be waiting on landing with a card identifying the name of the guest. Approximately 30 minutes to the Hostel

REAL BUS : Cheaper option (around R$6,00), but demands more time, since traverses several points of Rio de Janeiro, taking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Climb up to the boarding area and go to the outside where there is a bus stop called REAL BUS. Once the bus rising Niemeyer Avenue, ask the driver to stop at 314 entrance, soon after the entry of the Favela of Vidigal. Look up and find a red house.
