Location Information

In Sana (Macaé) the nature hides the natural richness of the Atlantic Forest and water recourses, with good ecotourism potential. With well preserved Forest areas, visit is a must to the falls located at Corrego Peito do Pombo, with clean waters forming wells through its natural falls flowing into the Sana River excellent for bathing, hydro massage, hydrotherapy, ecological tour and diving. There is a slide through easy access track, suggested for kids and elderly people. The slides have little beaches with sand and pond for diving and bathing. Other falls are: Cachoeira Mãe, Laje da Borboleta, Poço da Flor, Cachoeira das Andorinhas.
