Raphaela and the staff were absolutely great and the hostel was well managed and had a homely atmosphere. We would have liked a secure place to put our valuable possessions, as there were only lockers in the dorms and our room was not very safe.

The staff is very friendly and willing to help. It is very near to the metro station and Copacabana is very easy to reach.

the warm welcome(Lea!!), the patio(!)(also in front of the hostel!), the little chats with the staff(Lea,Maurizzio, ...),the central and quiet location, also brazilian hostelguests!
Less:lockers are too small sized.

The location of the hostel was very good and made it easy to get to other parts of Rio. The staff was also very helpful and very friendly, very interested in making sure that people were having a good time.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was not cleaned and the kitchen was dirty but the cleaner tried his best to keep public places clean. The hostel is central and a good place to be for carnavale as the staff made the effort to organize people going to main events and there were other trips available easily too. It was quite expensive for what you got, but it seems that is the same everywhere in carnaval time.

Best hostel I have stayed at throughout SA travels. Fantastic friendly warm staff, very clean, lots of activities organised to do, great shared areas, in lovely quiet street. Definately stay here if you come to Rio.
