Disliked: To describe twin room honestly. Actualy this was 2 bed one above other and very smal place. A safe place in reception where to place the valuable possecion.

Liked: Our sheets and towels were still wet when we received them. The room was nice and had a fan and air conditioner. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, bread, butter, and jam. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The computers can only be used for a fee. This was the first hostel I had seen do this. We were only here for a night, didn´t really meet any people.

Liked: love this hostel, staff are lovely and super friendly and really looked after us, good for meeting people to party with and was perfect to enjoy carnival in rio or just chill out. i found it hard to leave and id definitely come back!

Liked: Umri was the greatest host and throughout carnaval week he made everyone feel most welcome and really generated a wonderful party atmosphere. He`s a real credit to the hostel. Also what was great were his wonderful juice concoctions each morning at breakfast.

Liked: staff were fab, felt so at home and welcomed. really gd large social areas to meet with other travellers and just genra very nice atmosphere, felt safe,secure and had a wonderful time-glad stayed 3 weeks!

Liked: I don't think "GOOD" covers how great this hostel is! I stayed here during carnival and had the best time ever!!! From the staff, to the atmosphere to the people you meet from all over the world - this hostel really knows how to take care of you and was great value for money!! All in all a home away from home!!! Thanks guys!!! xxxx

Liked: Daniel a guy who works here will give you the best directions to anywhere in RIO. The metro station is 5 min walk away from the hostel which makes this a great location as you can go anywhere in RIO for real cheap on the metero. Also the TV in Vila Carioca is HUGE which after 5 months of traveling its nice to be able to chill on the couch and watch one of the many movies here.Great place nice to chill, party mode bit quite here which us travelers need sometimes.

Liked: Raphaela and the staff were absolutely great and the hostel was well managed and had a homely atmosphere. We would have liked a secure place to put our valuable possessions, as there were only lockers in the dorms and our room was not very safe.

Liked: the warm welcome(Lea!!), the patio(!)(also in front of the hostel!), the little chats with the staff(Lea,Maurizzio, ...),the central and quiet location, also brazilian hostelguests!Less:lockers are too small sized.
