From the International Airport (GIG):

The best and easiest option is to take a taxi. Depending on the time, it should cost between 40-50 Reais. Directions for Taxi: Simply show or tell the driver our street addresses in Leblon and they will know where to go. We’re on the corner with Av. General San Martin. One block from the beach.

A cheaper option is the ´Real´ bus. Walk out of the arrivals lounge, take a right past the waiting taxis and look out for the airport bus stop. It costs around 6 Reais & the driver speaks English. It goes along the main beach road of Leblon - ′Avenida Delfin Moreira′ . Ask to stop at ‘Rua Cupertino Durão′ (street name). Walk up this street (Rua Cupertino Durão) one block from the beach or on the corner with Av. General San Martin.

From the Domestic Airport (SDU):

From Bus Station:

Again the best and easiest option is to take a radio taxi from just outside the bus station. You pay a fixed fee at the counter. It will cost about 30 Reais to get to Copacabana. Directions for taxi: Simply show or tell the driver our street addresses in Leblon and they will know. We’re on the corner with Av. General San Martin.

Another option is to take the ´Real´ Bus from in front of the bus station. It’s cheaper but takes much longer. It costs 4 Reais & the driver speaks English. Walk past the taxi rank just outside the station & wait for the bus at the side of the opposite road. They run every 15 minutes and will stop on the main beach road (Av. Delfin Moreira). Ask to stop at ‘Rua Cupertino Durão′ (street name). Walk up this street (Rua Cupertino Durão) one block from the beach or on the corner with Av. General San Martin.

Alternatively, walk over to the other side of the station and walk across the road, past the taxis, and catch any bus to ‘Leblon′, most of which run along ´ Av. General San Martin ´. Watch out for ′Rua Cupertino Durão ′ on your right and get off there. You will see a green building on the corner.
