the satff were great...each one of them helped in anyway they could.it is rught next to a metro which brings you into copa in 5mins and there is a great shopping mall next door!!just thought it was a bit expensive for the location and type of hostel it is.

Staff were very friendly and polite, english of majority of staff was of good quality which made it easier to communicate. Easy atmosphere to meet people. Botofogo, pleasent and safe area.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to their newly renovateddouble rooms with ensuite. It was new, clean and had air conditioning so we counted ourselves very lucky. Staff were helpful, just watch out that airport transfer should only be 45 reals in a normal cab, not 60 reals.

Excellcent level of Customer Care from all the staff. The owners themselves could not have been any kinder of more helpful when I first arrived in Rio. Top Marks!!

Close proximity to everything. Buses to pretty much everywhere right outside the door. Can get to Copacabana or Ipanema beach within 10 mins. Really helpful and fun staff. Great atmosphere.

Met some great people and had some great nights out. The Hostel staff were amazing and organised a free meal for everyone. All the staff were friendly and aproachable.

It was overall a good place and great people. However, it was very hot trying to sleep with no air conditioning. Value of $50/night for Carnival was questionable with very little "extra" thrown in and a very full and hot living situation. I would pay a little more in the future for air in Rio's Summer.
