During February (except for Carnival packages), book for 7 nights and get an extra night free of charge. The free night is available only in large dormitory rooms (or wherever available a bed in your 8th night), but the promotion is valid for all kind of reservation (privates or shared).

From the INTL. Airport take the REAL BUS.

It is very easy to find us. All you have to do is get to the beginning of Rua São Clemente in Botafogo. São Clemente is one main street in Botafogo neighbourhood, and the beginning is by the beach. We are at number 23, what is something like 20 meters from there.

You can reach us by local city buses. Lot's of them go by Botafogo and stop not further than 20 meters from the hostel. To get there walking you may ask:
- 'Por favor, onde fica a Rua São Clemente?'

To tell the taxi driver to take you there:
- 'Rua São Clemente número vinte e tres, em Botafogo' or simply show them the address, as usual ;-). All taxi drivers know!, so if they pretend they don't, insist. You may ask as well, for Botafogo Praia Shopping Centre. We are 2 minutes from there.

Now the only thing you need is to walk to number 23 (THERE IS A BIG NUMBER ON THE TOP OF THE DOOR) and ring the bell on the top that says Ace Backpackers at the GOLDEN door. For safety purposes THERE IS NO SIGN IN FRONT OF THE HOSTEL that says here is a hostel. It says only Ace Cafe & Fun. Keep the address in a separate paper. Look for the several flags and do not give that attention to the front cover!

But if you're still far away from Rio, get the following directions.

From Novo Rio Bus Terminal:
- Very important notice get off the bus from the company you arrived in Rio. Do not cross any gate. Just look for the Platform 60 (the area where all buses arrive). In the number 60 you buy the tickets from the CIA SAO SILVESTRE to the metro. Get off in the ESTACIO METRO station and take the metro in direction to SOUTH ZONE- COPACABANA. Then, get off in Botagofo metro station in the exit that says SAO CLEMENTE. Walk in direction of the beach. We are in the number 23. Ring the bell on the top that says ACE BACKPACKERS...Here you are.

This is the best and easiest way to get here. Metro has information in English regarding the name of the stops/stations.

From Tom Jobim (Galeão) International Airport (GIG):
- Just take the Real Company bus outside the airport and get off at the BOTAFOGO PRAIA SHOPPING CENTER walk one more block in the same direction that the bus was going and you’ll find us on the corner.

From Santos Dumont Airport (SDU):
- Just take the bus Real Company outside the airport and get off at the BOTAFOGO PRAIA SHOPPING, walk one more block in the same direction that the bus was going and you’ll find us at the corner.

Taxis should cost no more than R$ 60, 00
