"The breakfast is good, for hostel standards. It is very close to a metro station. One new staff member, a new girl I think, was super friendly. The others not so much."

About CabanaCopa

CabanaCopa is a new quality backpackers hostel with a warm welcoming atmosphere. We are located in a street w/ 24hrs security, just three blocks from the beach, one from the metro and right next to a beautiful national park.

A large colonial house fully renovated with clean spacious dorms and bathrooms, excellent social areas (indoor and outdoor), free 20mbs high-speed internet & wi-fi, a cinema lounge w/ 52' LCD full HD cable TV, our cabana bar & games room w/ pool table, live sports & music, and a lot more!

We are at the most traditional and noble part of the neighbourhood near the Copacabana Palace Hotel. Here you can find all sorts of restaurants, bars, clubs, supermarkets, 24h mini-market & ATM's, banks, shops and easy transport to all parts of the city. We are neighbours to a 36km² national parks with nature & wildlife (Little monkeys visit our big Avocado & Papaya trees at the back), peacefulness, eco-hiking and even a football court available.
