Welcome to the King George hostel! The hostel is located in the best spot of Copacabana - inside a closed street with 24hr security, and just three minutes walk from the beach.

The hostel is situated near an amazing tropical forest, full with strange monkeys, beautiful parrots and many other exotic animals!

Best of all we offer a FREE AIRPORT PICK UP for all of our guests! *(terms apply - see below).

As well as this, we're just a couple of blocks from the most famous of all beaches, Copacabana,

Put these things together and the location can´t be beaten.

Breakfast is included as well but you may have to share it as the monkeys tend to appear at t the table at this time hoping for a banana for their own breakfast.

Also, if you stay at the hostel for 6 nights in a dorm you will receive the next night for free. Most of you will be taking advantage of this offer because everyone ends up staying in Rio longer than planned.

Between tuesday and thursday all of our dorm and double beds are also offered at a R$5 discount per person.

We also offer a FREE AIRPORT PICK UP for every guest.* (conditions apply - see below).

Reservations made more than 2 weeks in advance also receive a R$2 discount off the standard price.

Our services includes tours all around the city (Corcovado, favela tours, samba parties, hang gliding, soccer games at the Maracana stadium), 24hr English speaking reception, FREE internet access, laundry, all local and tourist information, open kitchen, airport pickups and much more.

Unlike most hostelsin Rio, all of our rooms are air conditioned as well.

Don´t be fooled by cheaper hostels in other areas. You´ll spend the difference and a lot more on coming back and forth to copa night and day.


*Please note that there is a minimum stay requirement of 5 nights to qualify for the free airport pick-up. If you opt for the pick-up and then stay for less than then you'll be charged the normal pick up price of R$60 when you checkout of the hostel.

We're just a couple of blocks from Copacabana beach, even closer to the metro station, but priviliged to be tucked away on a quiet, secure residential street that backs onto the forest.
