 this is by far the best hostil I have stayed in, I have met so many cool and intresting people, the whole staff is friendly and helpfull and really know how to show you a good time

After a 5 week tour of peru, bolivia, chile and argentina, mellow yellow was the fantastic place to end our trip in Rio. Amazing location next to Copacabana beach, the place has a well cool bar, a chillout room complete with hammocks... and its filled with party people.

hostel was very fun and in a great spot near the beach, offered many tours, however some were overpriced for what other people paid such as the football and favela party

Helpful staff, in great location. Internet constantly down. This is a Party hostel, loud and louder. Don´t stay here if you want a peaceful easy sleep, you won´t get it.

It´s a great place to meet people as the bar is very good and the staff are very good to organise events for you and include high profile safety features with all trips

Helpful & knowledgable staff. The notice boards were always packed with whats happening around the city. Spacious rooms, well stocked bar, high priority to safety and security.

Fantastic location 2 minutes from the beach. Great info on and about the city, and brilliant tours such as the Football to the Maracana and the Funk party. Staff were also brilliant especially the scottish barman!!!!!!!!!!!!! peace
