Customer reviewYou feel safe and like you can meet people. They provide many details of trips and directions to place when you'd rather go alone. We found it very useful that they provide evening meals for not too much money as there weren't many restaurants around. |

Stephanie MorrisThis hostel was hyped up far too much for what we experienced. I woke up sharing a bed with a cockroach, cooked and ate breakfast with them too. By far the dirtiest hostel ive stayed in in South America. Throughly in need of refurbishment. Also when we left, we asked how much a taxi would be to the bus station and they told us 36reals....we went outside and got one who was obviously not a friend of the staff and it cost us 20reals. The fact they had a room called Favela gives a good indication of what is to be expected. They claim to be a party hostel and yet shut the bar two hours early at times even though there were about 15 people drinking and when we asked where was good to go after we constantly got sent to some over priced gringo bar - Emporio! I wouldnt stay here ever again. |

TIM CAKEBREADwhat an amazing 5 nights i had at this place which is located just off the copacbana beach and 2mins from an underground stop. the place has such a good nightlife. the bar is cheap and they give u a free drink everyday!! winner! meet loads of cool people. pity we werent there for sunday and monday evenings which seemed like two of the main nights to go out on, oh well. cant praise this place enough! amazing! |

Customer reviewWas a great place to meet people in a good location. Had a lot of fun here and added to the experience of Brazil! The three tier bunk beds are a bit much and they could be cleaner as well. On initially walking in we thought my gosh why did we pay for so many nights upfront? But because we had so much fun it felt like it became our home. |

Andrew AntenucciI really loved this place! It was the perfect environment to make the most of a stay in Rio. One great thing about this place were the activities run, for example the bus to the Lapa Street party (definitely recommend it), trip to see football games (amazing experience, though expensive), and the demostrations of funk dancing in the upstairs bar (which was a great place to hang out). In the end, we got to know all the staff and all the guests, and ended up having a fantastic time. Plus with a great location, I really think that it must be the best hostel in Rio. |

Daisuke Itoall receptionists, clean staffs are very friendly and helpful. It's located just one minute from Metro station, bus stop, and a few minutes to the beach on foot! In the night, get to bars, parties also on foot. Facilities are a bit old, but clean. only one negative point. No hot water at shower during 4days staying! Machine didn´t work! but i love this hostel. highly recommended. |

Customer revieweveryone is really friendly. They serve dinner every night, really big portions and very nice food. They do every trip you might want to do and its not too expensive. Would be better if the dorms were abit cheaper though! |
