Liked: Location was superb, cleaned regularly, staff (Barbara the manager speaks English) was extremely helpful and more than willing to go out of her way to help you orgainse trips, onward transport, hostels, etc. Would have no problems going back there again. 8 out of 10!!

Liked: A wonderful place to stay and to meet other travelers from around the world! Facilities are great, the bathrooms and showers are exceptionally clean. Staff are great and always helpful woih any question you might have. Next time in Rio I ´d definitely come back here...

Liked: Overpriced. Everything is very small and not enough space. The door of the bedroom is just so wide to take your suitcase on it only with the small side. The bedroom is just that wide to store a bed. Walking is not possibble when your backpack/suitcase lays on the floor. At our stay the showers did't work. Cold shower! In the accommodation hangs a continue chlore smell.

Liked: great place with wonderful location, in a safe street with sentry box, it's really clean, near to the beach, subway, bus, with great tours and parties, great atmosphere and an incredible breakfast, and good thing is because don't have more than 9 beds in each room. 100% recommend!!!

Liked: We stayed here for a night before we went to Salvador . Great location and really friendly staff. Helped me out alot as Iberia decided not to bring my bag to Brazil. Furthermore, they helped us to go to a football game. Hostel rooms very good value and when you also consider that you get free breakfast, cant complain! We will return.

Liked: Barao Copa Hostel is a wonderful place to stay! I loved the atmosphere, the accomodation and the people I`ve met there! This is the second time that I stayed at Barao Copa Hostel. The first time was during the Carnaval in Rio. What I liked is that all the excursions and possibilities were offered to us at the hostel. Also I enjoyed my staying because I`ve made lots of frendship with other visitors. Next time when go to Rio I will stay at Barao Copa Hostel again!

Liked: I adored Barao Copa Hostel. Was there the second time. The location is excellent, the service is beyond any comparison. I met new wonderful frends there!!! Besides that the staff was very kind! To say that this hostel is very good means to say nothing, is perfect! Thank you!!!

Liked: The location is great!! Just five min. walk from the copacabana but the hostel was not really nice.The rooms were really simple and without anything.

Liked: The hostel is quite new, the place is very clean and I felt very comfortable and totally safe. The staff is really really nice.It is also very well-located - only a short walk to Copacabana Beach and very close to the Metro. Ipanema is also not far. I really can recommend this hostel for a pleasant stay in Rio de Janeiro!

Liked: The hostel is in a great location just minutes from the beach and super close to the metro and you can even walk to Impanema to the Hippy market on sunday to stock up on souvenirs. The people that work at the hostel go out of their way to help and its clean!! We would def recommend a stay here!!
