LOVELY PLACE!!! Bamboo is THE place to be! I will hold a place in my heart for all the lovely people I met, the brilliant staff that will help with anything you need, the dangerously delicious drinks served by the chilled out from the bar, decent breakfast, most cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen.

Bamboo Rio was a fantastic hostel, I would definitely recommend it! We loved it so much that even when we were back in rio we chilled out there even though it was fully booked. A group of us (4-5 girls) stayed in the 5 bedroom dorm which was a good size and clean. ALL the staff were AMAZING, really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and they make it such a lovely place to be in. It's quite a party hostel so if you’re ready to have fun you'll definitely enjoy it! The location is great - easy walking distance to the beach, lagoa and the metro and buses are extremely closeby. The security is good and we all felt safe there. They also offer great priced caprinihas at their bar where it’s easy to meet people and they also offered a good day tour and Free internet.

Internet was really free of charge. After staying in another hostel in Rio I had find out, that shower room was perfectly designed with lots of storage space and really hot water for both.

it was a really fun place to stay and the staff was really nice. there is a nice bar but it closes at midnight what is a bit sad. I recommend this hostel to everybody who is visiting Rio.

Staff are lovely and the breakfast is great. Handy for the beach and taking buses to see the Rio sights. Lovely bar and patio to chill out and meet others. If you´re a girl the 5 bed girl dorm is the best option as the others are a bit cramped!

The hostel was really clean and the beds were nice. Only a few hundred meters from the beach, and with 24 hours security. The rooms are cleaned daily and we enjoyed our own batroom. Great place!

The hostel has a good location close to copacabana beach. The dorm rooms are really tiny. It is a fun place for people who want to party - so it is really noisy at night! The breakfast is very poor.

We tried out 3 hostels in Copacabana and Bamboo was by far the best so we stayed for 2 weeks! It´s just the perfect size so you can meet everyone there. The bar is great and the staff will do anything and everything for you. Nelson, the security guard will cook you up amazing food if you ask him and take you out for drinks in a near by favela... amazing guy! Rooms are small but the atmosphere makes up for it a long way. Definitely recommended.
