‘Terra Brasilis Hostel’ is located in Santa Teresa. Enjoy the beautiful 180 degree views of the most charming neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro. We are close to LAPA, the best nightlife in the city! Our Hostel is a home for artists, alternative, bohemian and all types of cool people!
We are located in Santa Teresa neighbourhood in Rio. ‘Terra Brasilis’ is just the right choice for all art and bohemia lovers! And transportation is very easy!. You can come and go by normal BUSES, SUBWAY services or RAIL of course!
LAPA, IS only 5 MINUTES FROM THE HOSTEL, the most famous spot for night life in town has an uncountable number of night clubs and cool bars which always attracts a diverse crowd. Everything new on Brazilian music has to be shown there first!!
The great atmosphere in the middle of centennials mansions and art ateliers welcome hundreds of visitors and locals by trail everyday!
Our Hostel is an ancient 19th century’s house with two delightful large balconies with stunning 180 degree views of Lapa, downtown and Guanabara Bay. Situated in a great open area, our Hostel a unique feature as we are always in touch with NATURE. (Everyday you can enjoy the company of many monkeys and birds!)
The location is a privileged place in the area, in a CALM and SAFE STREET, with a GUARD constantly WATCHING opposite Parque das Ruínas (Ruins Park) which is a Park and Cultural Centre at the same time; it is easy to find live music, courses and entertaining workshops.
If your goal is to ADD CULTURE and NIGHT LIFE to your trip without missing the traditional sightseeing, Terra Brasilis is the perfect place to stay!

Our hostel is located 5min walking from LAPA, bigest party place in all city. From the hostel its easy to get to the south zone where is the most famous beaches. Area where hostel is located is famous because of the tranquility and safety, we garante that while u will be here u will not neet to worie about your safety.

Important, During New Years Eve(from 28/12 till 01/01) we are working only with a New Years Package what is in total for those 4 days BR$400 in the dorm and the same for 4 days BR$1500 in the private room. During the Carnival(from 10/02 till 16/02) we are working only with a Carnival Package what is for those 6 days BR$900 in the dorm, BR$3000 in the suite and BR$2800 in the double room.
