REGULAR DATES • For cancellations up to 5 days before date of arrival, 10% of the total price of the reservation will be charged. • For cancellations later or in case of no-show, the total price of reservation will be charged. • Early departure penalty is equal to 100% of the remaining stay. • Prepayment: 10% of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking. SPECIAL DATES (NEW YEAR, CARNAVAL, WORLD CUP.......) • For cancellations up to 45 days before date of arrival, 50% of the total price of the reservation will be charged. • For cancellations later or in case of no-show, the total price of reservation will be charged. • Early departure penalty is equal to 100% of the remaining stay. • Prepayment: 50% of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking. The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 45 days before.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival (local time). Payments made to HostelBookers are non-refundable.

About Terra Brasilis Hostel

We offer 3 spacious common areas – a big patio, where sun and moon lighten our days and nights.
A spacious lounge where we receive our guests for breakfast, to watch a movie or to enjoy our home style stone-baked pizzas while listening to lots of Brazilian music.
We also have a garden to relax, a fantastic shower to refresh on hot summer days as well as our organic kitchen garden.
There are many birds and Micos ( Cebus Monkeys) frequently passing by.
With our accommodation options we try to attend to all kinds of travelers. We offer spacious dormitories with shared bathrooms as well as comfortable suites.
It will be our pleasure to welcome you as our guests!

Location Information

The Terra Brasilis Hostel stands out because of its great location! Our 19th century house is located in a quiet and safe dead end street. In front of our Hostel is the Cultural Center “Parque das Ruinas” with its beautiful view of the Sugar Loaf. The museum “Chacara do Ceu” is located in the same street as our hostel.
We are located in the heart of Santa Teresa, only 5 minutes from the “Largo dos Guimaraes” which is known for its charming gift shops as well as its gastronomic variety with different restaurants, bars and traditional brazilian pubs. We are located a few meters from the nearest bus stop as well as the famous Selaron staircase, which leads to Lapa and the close by metro stations.
