Aquarela Sweet Home is a cozy and affordable Bed and Breakfast set in front of one of the most famous tourist spot in Rio de Janeiro, "The Maracan Football Stadium".

We are not a hostel or a hotel, but we have a compromise of giving you the best attention, care and security in a warm and friendly ambient. Our B & B is also only walking distance from the local commerce with malls, restaurants, cafes and a cool bohemian nightlife.

Accommodation Information

Single, double and triple rooms with shared bathrooms. All rooms are cozy and rustic. Our rooms are in a calm and private ambient and have either ceiling fan or air conditioned. We have two living rooms where you can read, watch cable TV, listening to music or just rest in comfortable hammocks at our balcony.

Location Information

We are in a place from where you can easily reach the major attractions:

Sugar Loaf and its cable car (20min by car, 35min by bus). As the first cable car to be installed in Brazil and the third in the world, it is one of the most important icons of tourism in Rio.

Corcovado (20min by car, 35min by bus - till the train station). The statue weighs 1,145 tons. Going up by a small train, takes around 20 minutes and goes along the Corcovado Railway.

Sambodromo - where the great carnival parade happens (10min by car, 15min by bus, 10min by subway)

Tijuca Forest (25min bus, 15 by car).The largest urban forest in the world, replanted by man in century XIX, is an area of natural preservation.

Nearest tourist attractions: Maracanã Soccer Stadium; Quinta da Boa Vista Park; São Cristovão Fair; Samba's Schools ( Mangueira, Vila Isabel, Salgueiro, Estácio de Sá and Unidos da Tijuca ), UERJ - Rio de Janeiro State University.
