Rio bohemia Hostel is the heart of Rio Carnival, directly in front of the famous white Lapa arches - the place to be during carnival; the street parties are all on our street. We’re in a vibrant Bohemian area of Rio de Janeiro, just minutes away from Rio Sambodromo. Copacabana. For stays during carnival, a 50% deposit is required.

Rio Bohemia Hostel is located on the street where over carnival the most famous street party happens. We are located in the Bohemian area of Lapa, meaning we’re surrounded by loads of cheap bars and restaurants. On our street you’ll find the white Lapa arches, and in the surrounding streets over 50,000 people party for the week long carnival period. There’s samba bands, dancers, street vendors, it’s an amazing sight and you can view it all from our balcony, enjoying the action and your beer until you’re ready to go join in. We will have a full guide of what’s on and where and tell you how to get the cheapest tickets for Sambadrome if you want to see the parade.
We are close to Santa Teresa and in the best area to sample traditional Brazilian food at cheap prices; we’re not over priced.
