We are next to one of most famous place in Ipanema "the post 9" and besides that, we are located in the beach, which you can also have a look at ocean from your room.

While in Rio de Janeiro, we`d like to stress how important location will be for you. Which, our hostel is located one block away from the famous Ipanema Beach! You’ll be located in the area offering a variety of restaurants, clubs, and bars in a safe working class neighborhood.

Restaurants including: Brazilian, Japanese, Mexican, American, and Italian. Clubs playing the hottest Hip Hop, Reggae, Funk, and Electronic music seven days a week! Not to mention, any kind of bar you could want filled with locals and other travlers from around the world.

While staying at our hostel, you'll feel like it`s your second home! We offer a full kitchen, laundry service, hot showers, fresh linen upon arrival, and high-speed internet service!

Wake up every morning, to a complementary fresh breakfast served in our dining area from the hours of 8:30 a.m to 11:00 a.m. Breakfast includes: fresh bread, fresh made coffee, orange juice, turkey or ham, and finshing off the food group chart with a banana.

We feel that the proper staffing of our hostel is a vital aspect of your experience. Have the comfort of knowing that we have staff fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish! So save yourself from colliding with any kind of language barrier.

Also, we view our staff as more of a concierge service than just a regular reception. We'll be able to coordinate any thing you'll need during your stay with us.

We understand how important security is to our guests, that’s why we’ve taken the following security measures: personal lockers, security camreas posted in our common areas and on the exteior showing the activty outside of the hostel; also, we have a night time security guard posted every night of the week, so no worries about getting locked of your hostel!

Through the years, we’ve establised contacts with many of the better clubs and bars, so we’ll be offering many promotions through-out the week; including free drinks and v.i.p passes that will put you to the front of the busy lines here in Rio.

Comfortable Housing Options:

Dorm Rooms-

Warning! Don't be fooled by other hostels by being crammed into a dorm room with thirty or forty beds and no ventalation! We offer dormitories with four comfortable beds in a good sized room, and for parties traveling with more backpackers; a dorm set up with ten beds. Both of these dorms well ventalated assuring you a comfortable nights rest. When making your reservation, if you'd like to request to stay in our dorm with the view of Ipanema Beach, just send us an email after booking your accomidation...and we'll make it happen!

Private Rooms-

Private Single: Our private single room is perfect for a guest staying in Rio for business, or a backpacker just looking for a couple nights of privacy. It's furnished with a personal locker, and a burrow to store personal items.

Private Twin: We've furnished this room with two comfortable single beds; which are suitable for a group of friends or a couple staying with us. You'll have plenty of room to store you're belongings in lockers situated under the beds. We have two private twin rooms with the ocean view! To book these rooms, just send us an email to check the availabilty.

Private Double Room-This is the best room in the Terrasse! It's furnised with a huge double bed, wall lockers to store your items, personal lockers, and an ocean view of Ipanema Beach!

IMPORTANT: If making a resevation for New Year or Carnival 2010 there are minimum stays required. We also require advance payment in full, the details on how to do this will be emailed to you after you have made your reservation.
